Owner's Response: Dear guest, ... we appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day, and living a 'note' on our website; for anybody who might come across our listing. "Thank you" for the positive 'word of mouth' or like the call it nowadays review. We hope to see you again some time, for some more relaxing 'farm time'. Best wishes ... Lucia

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

Driving up the path alone was such a treat! We felt like we were somewhere magical! We stayed in the one bedroom and it was immaculate. Gisela and all the various animals were perfect hosts. Fritzi is adorable and the peacocks were beautiful. It is only 15-20 minutes from Nashville so we had the both of best worlds. The pool and property are beautiful and Gisela is so generous and yes there really is homemade bread in the morning. There is also a two bedroom cottage as well which was also very nice as we were able to look at it. We would love to go back as it is a peaceful, restful place and we just loved it!

My cottage was super amazing and sitting on the front porch and looking at the pond full of fish, ducks, geese and hearing the peacocks calling for each other. Every morning I enjoyed a homemade breakfast that was provided by the super nice hostess, Lucia! I can't wait to go back and chill out by the pool again. It was a wonderful experience.

This property is beautiful. It's like staying in a garden oasis.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Evergreen Farm. The cabin was so quaint and clean and the bed comfortable. The environment is quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for. We could get to anything we wanted in Nashville easily then come back to the peace and quiet of this cabin. Enjoyed the view from the front porch, where we enjoyed eating several meals. Loved having the fridge stocked with breakfast foods, and lunch deli items and especially the fresh bread each morning. Would definitely stay again, but would request the 2 br one story cabin next time.

Quaint seclusion

Great hideaway and many fun treasurers to be found out in the pastures. Gisela was a great host.

You can't not like this place.

  • 5 of 5

I found this property while doing a quick search on VRBO for a last minute trip to Nashville for my wife and myself. When I saw it I was immediately impressed, and when I showed my wife, without hesitation she said "book it". Boy are we glad we did. The owner Gesila is from Germany, and she maintains her property, like my German mother, clean and pristine. The view of the lake from the front porch is spectacular, as are all the grounds where one is welcome to walk. If you don't like the sounds of nature, like geese honking, ducks quacking, bull frogs croaking at night, turkeys gobbling, and an occasional call from a peacock, then you won't like this place. However if you do, you will be at peace here. No need for television (even though they have direct tv). The cabin is well made and maintained, and features excellent craftsmanship throughout. It has everything one might need for a stay, and surprisingly to my wife and myself, we found the refrigerator stocked with brown eggs, cheeses, meats, yogurts, milk, orange juice, and lots of fresh fruit. In addition to these items, Geisla would send us fresh bread each morning to enjoy with our breakfast. Sitting on the front porch of this European styled cabin, looking out over the lake, eating fresh bread rolls with cheese, meat, and soft boiled eggs brought me back to a childhood memory of a trip to Austria. We highly recommend this place, and hope to be lucky enough to visit here again.
