Architect's award-winning beach house overlooks quaint Simon's Town and False Bay. Wind-protected balcony allows one to barbecue while enjoying the sights of the beaches below. A colony of African penguins (Spheniscus demersus) has settled there and freely move among their human counterparts. Often they can be found nesting in the yard of the house.
In addition to the spectacular views over False Bay, there is a Golf Course across the street of the house and one may view golfers on the 7th green from the dining room table. There is safe, wind-free swimming on the warm side of the Cape Peninsula (Indian Ocean side) at Boulders beach, about 200 yards from the house.
Nearby Simon's Town (once a British Navy base and now the center of the South African Navy) has Victorian buildings and many shops, galleries and restaurants to visit.
