A Wonderful Place to Stay!
We had an amazing family outing here with our two dogs. It was a perfect place to get away from the hustle of the city for a few days! The view from the windows of the mountains was amazing... It was close enough to so many activities throughout the day. But the place was so cozy that several times we just decided to stay in and relax. There was a great trail to walk the dogs just outside the door. I would definitely recommend.

THE.BEST. family time at this property
I cannot tell you how amazing our time here was. The kids vote that it was the best place we've ever stayed, and we've rented quite a few properties in our efforts to visit as many national parks as possible. The pool table and hot tub kept everyone central to the center of the house, which was really nice. (The pool table alone provided HOURS of fun family entertainment.) We visited Rocky Mountain National Park (another family favorite) many days, Steamboat Springs, Breckenridge, and enjoyed some local fishing. The owners were great to answer questions and provide tips about local conveniences. The teens LOVED the hot tub--no issues that other renters had commented on. The walking track behind the house was PERFECT to enjoy with my 8-year-old son after I'd popped dinner into the oven, and one evening an incredible rainbow spanned the entire back view, just in front of the mountains. I enjoyed breakfast and coffee each morning on the back porch, and it brought me the GREATEST sense of peace. MUCH needed right now. Truly, we had such an incredible time enjoying your property in this peaceful neighborhood. Thanks so much for sharing it!

Great Location, Great View, But Ammenities Could Be More Up To Date.
We were allowed to check in 2 hours early due to the very communicative property manager. The Hot Tub which was a Dire Need for one of our Disabled Veterans in our group with back issues took almost until 10 hours after we had arrived (midnight) to reach a 100 degree temperature. Our group of 5 total guests were in the hot tub each day for roughly a total of 2 hours until day 3. On just the third day the hot tub began to smell bad and our skin was itching when we would get out. Therefore we didn't use the hot tub for the rest of our 1 week long stay as we believed the filter had not been changed or some other underlying issue. On top of the hot tub dilemma we were unable to watch any shows on netflix or hulu at night because the living room television was so dated that it does not have wireless internet capability only ethernet. In one of the bathrooms there are ants coming out of the wall and they are EVERYWHERE in that bathroom. Upon arrival a few things had not been cleaned properly especially sinced we rented towards the end of COVID-19. My final problem was with some of the furniture in the home. One of the bed frames was broken upon arrival and the living room table chair set was wobbly and falling apart so we moved them aside and did not sit on them. Other than these gripes everything about the home was excellent and in working condition. We spent most of our time hiking or out on excursions so in the end the items that needed work in the house did not effect our trip too horribly, i just wish if our group paid this much extra to get a place with a hot tub then it would be in working order.

Wonderful place!
We loved staying at this property! The location is great and close to Fraser for our tubing day. There was plenty of dishes to cook a good meal, playing games, etc. The hot tub was awesome! We enjoyed our stay very much!

About the host

The owners are life long friends who share a love of the outdoors and camaraderie. We wanted a house that brought people together and are proud alumni of the University of Wyoming and have made Colorado our home.

Why they chose this property

Our family loves this area with so much to offer outdoors, but we also love the convenience of being close to town, grocery store or restaurants. The views from the back deck are incredible.

What makes this property unique

The time we spend here is time spent outdoors. We love to ski, both X-country and downhill, snowshoe and sled in the winter. Spring is spent hiking, biking, fishing and exploring new areas. Summer is escaping to higher mountains around the area for cool air and high mountain flowers and enjoying the concerts and rodeos. Fall is great fishing and continued hiking to enjoy the changing of the leaves.
