One Mile to plaza, close to best shopping center, 2 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths

This well decorated condo overlooks the city to the Plaza, its Cathedral visible, and beyond to the Santa Fe Mountains. A supermarket and a compliment of shops and restaurants are two blocks away, the famed Plaza another 6 blocks. The Santa Fe Opera is just over the hill, a 10 minute drive; the SF ski area just 16 miles.

Dozens of fine restaurants, a full compliment of those southwestern style, are within a few minutes drive, as well as museums, Indian Ruins, and venues for all sorts of activities: hiking, mountain climbing, etc.; and in the winter, skiing just 16 miles away, and in Taos.

Festivals and fiestas run year around, especially in the summer and fall: Indian and Spanish markets, the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, and Santa Fe Opera, to name but a few.

Canyon Road, with scores of art galleries, as well as those scattered through the city, makes Santa Fe the second largest art market in the country.

We have Digital TV service, and TWO flatscreen TV's in this condo, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom.

Horseback Riding! Fred Espinosa, a very savvy, experienced wrangler, has a beautiful set up in Tesuque, just a few miles up 285/84, with a range of beautiful horses and trails. Reasonable rates. Call Lori, 575 751 6180

Free, ample parking. Great view! Good heating system and AC in summer. Easy access to all points in and around Santa Fe. Air conditioning in summer. A quiet respite from the hurly burly of the Plaza after a full day eating and shopping.

Warm and wonderful value in Santa Fe

Great spot just outside of Santa Fe. Hosts were excellent, beds comfortable, and views majestic. Note that this isn't a "five star" property (as in luxurious) but for the price it's an amazing value. Definitely recommend it (we were there for the holidays as a family of 5 with kids 14, 12 and 6).

Owner's Response: Just a note to clarify a statement in this excellent review: the condo is definitely inside Santa Fe city limits but just outside of the downtown plaza area. It's located just over a mile (depending on the route taken) from the center of the plaza area, but also very close to our major shopping center, the DeVargas Center, it's away from the plaza congestion, and it's set up a bit over the city so you get, as our reviewer pointed out, those "majestic views." We bought in this condo complex because of its location, the great views, the ample parking and air conditioning, and because it's central to all points in Santa Fe: the plaza and all major centers of interest. The complex is set on a frontage road to St. Francis, a major artery, so easy to drive to all other locations in Santa Fe with ease (ie, other shopping areas with Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and to The fabulous Railyard District with restaurants, galleries, and our best movie theater; to Guadalupe St with all of its traditional attractions, and St. Francis Dr is the main artery north and south out of the city: to the renowned Opera, to Bandelier, and to all northern points of interest such as Abiquiu (Georgia O'keeffe country), etc. We also think we're one of the best values in Santa Fe, as this reviewer mentioned. We like having our guests return often and to becoming their second homes-- in Santa Fe.

Great Stay!

I just returned from a visit to Santa Fe where my older parents and I stayed in this condo. The condo was beautifully decorated in Santa Fe style and was very comfortable. This condo was perfect for older visitors - the elevator loads within a few steps of the front door and the parking is within a few more steps. There was handicapped accessibility and the parking lot was well lit and felt very safe. Even my little dog had a nice yard of grass downstairs to do her business.

The condo was very clean, well maintained and stocked with appliances, kitchen accessories, linens, cleaning needs,etc... anything one would need to have a comfortable stay. Other than clothes and personal items, there was nothing we really needed to bring.

The condo was well situated in town to have easy car access to downtown shopping, casinos, the ski area and restaurants. The owners were really friendly and easy to work with. There were no negative "surprises"... in fact, the pictures don't really do the place justice. It's a very cute and comfortable place to stay.

The spar bed was the worst. Hard, low and very uncomfortable, the shower was dark and hard to see as well as the shower head needs replaced. The kitchen faucet was broken as well.

Great condo

This was a very comfortable and quiet condo for the four of us. We loved the decor, and it was in a convenient location. The handle broke on one of the toilets, and a handyman came the same day to fix it. We hope to visit Santa Fe and stay here again!

We had a wonderful time in Santa Fe. The apartment was very convenient to everything...shopping, gym just up the street, plaza, ski area, hiking. The owners were very responsive to any requests and their handyman was very efficient and full of good information about Santa Fe. The bed was also very comfortable.

You will need to come back many times!
