About this property

Year round hot tub! We sit a mere15 feet back from the edge of Lake of Bays!

*HOT TUB (4-5 person) operational all year round. **Important : there is an additional sleeping area called the Mermaid Grotto that has one queen , two twins and it’s own TV. It has lovely curtains that create privacy and a “tent-like” feeling - kids love it :) Snowmobile Rentals at Lake of Bays Marina (5 minute walk) and the Trail goes through our Bay. Watersedge Lakehouse, our second home, is 15 minutes from the West Gate of Algonquin Park; 15 minutes to Deerhurst Resort(indoor pool and hot tub, climbing wall and arcade and Escape Cabins);20 minutes from Huntsville and Arrowhead Provincial Park (famous outside skating trail and tubing park in the Winter months) and nearby to Dorset (Lookout Tower and Robinsons General store, voted Canada's favourite) and Dwight (Henriettas Bakery). Many kilometres of snowmobile trails accessed just outside our door . ATV rentals offered nearby - great for Spring and Fall. Treetop trekking aerial park 20 minutes away. Large new (just under 2000 square foot dock), fire pit granite seating area; 18 X 20, 3 Season Muskoka room. Beautiful Ragged Falls , a mere 15 minute drive just west on HWY 60

A lovely winter getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Watersedge Lakehouse. It was well-equipped with everything we needed. The owner provided lots of great tips for the area and was very communicative. Would absolutely recommend staying here, and stay again ourselves!

Incredible Lake of Bays Hideaway
Watersedge Lakehouse is a pristine vacation home with incredible, unobstructed views of the larger bay area. Our group welcomed 2022 with a four day NYE weekend! The cottage is quite private offering every opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding the property and greater Dwight area. The hot tub overlooking the lake was fantastic, great assortment of board games & large open concept kitchen/living room (& 3 season room) overlooking the bay. The cottage had plenty of space, bedrooms and bathrooms to easily accommodate the 8 adults in our party. Many hiking/skiing trails within a short drive. The host responded to any questions within the hour and was very helpful in recommending local trails, etc. Hoping to return later this year! Melissa
