About this property

Peaceful, Relaxing Family Retreat with Pond & Mountain Views + Outdoor Shower!

Welcome! It's time to relax!

Our family condo features a fully equipped kitchen, wood stove, outdoor fire pit and grill (seasonal), and outdoor shower (seasonal). Main level (first floor) has 1 full bath and 2 bedrooms, one with a queen and one with a full. Second/upper level loft bedroom has 2 queen beds, with skylight & bath with shower. Great for families -- lower level for parents, upper level for kids!

In warm weather, relax on our deck or in our hammock as you watch the hummingbirds buzzing around Crawford Pond. Cool off in the glorious outdoor shower. In cooler weather, enjoy our cozy wood burning stove after a day of leaf-peeping, skiing, or ice skating on the pond.

The loft bedroom is very private - it comprises the entire second floor and is not an open loft.

Bonus baby & kid items include: pack n play (you'll need to bring your pack n play sheets), booster seat with tray, kids books & toys, etc.

Area Description: The home sits right on a small pond, and is very close to Route 302. Swimming in the Saco River or Echo lake is 10-15 minutes away via car. The area is very peaceful, private, and quiet. Attitash is only a mile away. Storyland is 4 miles away. Bretton Woods, Wildcat, and Cranmore, are 15-30 minute rides.

Our association consists of five buildings surrounding the pond. Each building has two units, for a total of ten. You will have two parking spots available for your stay.

Other Info: 1 mile from Attistash, where you can ski in the winter, waterslide and tube in the summer. 10 minutes to North Conway and Mt. Cranmore (skiing). Wade in our pond or take a quick trip to Echo Lake, or the Saco River for swimming. The house is located in a wooded area, so your kids will enjoy exploring and catching frogs and tadpoles. Also, there is a large grassy area across from the house -- perfect for ballgames and picnics.

Nature at its best: Relax as you gaze out at the pond and mountains beyond. In the summer, enjoy the wild strawberries, blackberries, and hummingbirds. In winter, skate on the pond (make sure it's frozen!)

PLEASE READ:
--> You will need to bring your own linens. We have linens that you can use, but if you choose to do so, you'll need to launder them before checking out.
--> Once you are paid in full, 3-5 days prior to check-in, we will email you directions / info about the house, as well as the key code.
--> This is not a place for a group of partiers. We have neighbors that we respect and we respect their right to enjoy their home without a lot of noise. We will retain your full security deposit if excessive noise is reported.
--> Procedures for checking out include running & emptying dishwasher, removing and disposing of trash, turning off hot water heater, etc. Contact us with any questions.
--> Absolutely no smoking anywhere inside or outside this property.

Perfect place to get away!
We recently spent the weekend with our family of four, including 2 adult children. This house was perfect! The two upstairs bedrooms was so nice because the kids could have their own space. The location of the house is awesome! So close to everything and so convenient. It was so nice to sit out by the fire pit at night with the pond in front of us just enjoying the peace and quiet. The hosts were extremely communicative, and helpful! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! Don’t hesitate to book this!!!

Great location between Franconia Notch and Conway
We stayed for a short vacation in nature with our family. Perfect vacation home on a pond, very quiet and relaxed, but with easy access to Franconia Notch as well as quick ride to Conway for shops and restaurants. Special shout-out to Bart's Deli & General store close by in Bartlett who serve brilliant sandwiches to take on hikes, and have most of everything else you'll need. The house is very well equipped, and communication with the owners was perfect - very responsive and friendly. Do know it's a wooden vacation home, so noise travels through the house. We first had 2 families in the house (4 adults, 3 young children) and at the end just us (2 adults, 1 child). The house accomodated us all perfectly, but it was a lot more relaxed when it was just the 3 of us :-)

We enjoyed our stay very much
Melissa answered our questions very quickly and very kindly. So we were able to book the apartment at short notice. The apartment is beautifully and lovingly furnished. The terrace and the view of the lake are beautiful. The only thing that was annoying were the mosquitoes. This is not a problem in the apartment, as there is protection on all windows and doors. But if you want to sit outside in the evening, you need a mosquito repellent. Despite the mosquitoes, I can only recommend the apartment and the hosts to everyone. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Our family memorial day vacation
The house was very warm and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, there was a firepit, hammock, laundry room, wood stove and a pond where we used kayaks. Great communication with the owners as well.

There is nothing quite like waking up to the view of Crawford Pond, with the mountains behind it. It has the most calming, peaceful, blood-pressure decreasing effect.
