Brand new and pristine units in a very private, quiet location. Just minutes from All Star Village and Cooperstown Dreams Park. Close and convenient to shopping and restaurants, yet very private with breathtaking views. Stay with us and enjoy a bonfire by the pond or grilling on our outdoor barbeque grill. We have 2 units connected with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen living room and dining room in each.

The retreat doesn’t dissapoint
This is my second stay in two years. Baseball led me here, and so grateful for it. Time almost seems to stop here. The serenity, the hard rain, clean air and smell of wet grass. That’s just the outside. Everything inside is as it should be. Extra pillows, clean towels, laundry……..I can go on and on. Alysia and Co, definetly have it down pat. Thank you again Alysia.

Simply Amazing
The Abner Retreat is a slice of heaven. Little tricky to find at first, but when you find it, you won’t believe what you booked. That’s just the drive in. Unlocking the door, and you are in your own little suite. CLEAN, modern, and all the amenities you could want, well, except the weak Wi-Fi and no ESPN. Good thing for hotspots and PS4. The cows, lake, birds, fish and green surrounding make you forget. You are 10 minutes fro CASV, and even less to WalMart and downtown. Cooperstown is also close, and the drive is amazing. If you can, try Nick’s Diner. Delish. Alysia was welcoming from our first convo, and checked to make sure we were well throughout. Oh, you won’t have to pack heavy, because there is a new washer and dryer. It’s so worth it. We will return for our next trip to CASV.. Thank you Abner Family, for a little slice of heaven.

Perfect Retreat
Abner’s Pond side retreat truly is a nature wonderland getaway. The accommodations are clean and comfy with many features to make you feel right at home. Owners are incredibly friendly and professional and will go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. Great location. Quiet and private yet close to Cooperstown All Star Village. This made it super easy for us to be at our son’s baseball games during the day and come back to a nice place in the evening. Definitely would come back here. Karen M., St. Louis, MO

A Rare & Tranquil Find
My family throughly enjoyed our stay at Abner’s Retreat! The hosts were the sweetest, welcoming and always super accessible. Like most families, we were here for baseball. The drive to Cooperstown All Star Village was only 9 minutes away which made it convenient to travel back and forth in between games or if there was a rain delay. The house itself had an amazing feel with gorgeous views! My favorite thing was having my morning coffee overlooking a pond, with goslings, deer, and of course the cows roaming around. And surprisingly, it didn’t smell like cow! The coaches that stayed with us had been to the Oneonta area a number of years in a row now, visited various houses that the team parents had booked and said the this was by far the cleanest, most modern looking, safest feeling house they’ve been to. Score!!!
