* Recently renovated 5 bedroom, 2 bath cottage with large boathouse and sundeck (45ft by 22 ft deck) on top of the boathouse to sun during the day and enjoy the stars by night.

* The upstairs boasts central a/c and heat, a large living/dining area with magnificent lakeview, updated eat in kitchen with skylight and sliding glass doors to a deck with additional seating for 8 and a propane grill. There is also a full bath(walk in shower) and 3 bedrooms , queen bed in each room and ceiling fan.


* The downstairs has 2 large BR's with a full bath(walk in shower) and a den. The master has a queen bed with adjoining bath and the other BR has 2 twin or king bed and a set of bunk beds. Both rooms have magnificent views of the lake and individual A/C units and sliding doors to a comfortable patio area with a wine barrel table

* Ceiling fans in all rooms (except den). Flatscreen TV with Internet access in Den and Living room, and 1 downstairs BR.

* Parking area for 5 plus cars.

Enjoy fishing off the dock, or dive off our diving board and swim to floating raft and relax in the sun. A canoe, 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards and lifejackets are available in the boathouse for your use., as well as noodles for floating in the lake. Also a hot tub is available for your use!

Awesome lakefront getaway on Skaneateles Lake
We absolutely loved our weekend stay at this waterfront oasis on the quiet southwest side of the lake, an easy drive or boat ride from the charming town of Skaneateles. We sailed, paddle boarded, biked and swam in the lake and can't imagine a better location. The "cottage" was spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped with a modern kitchen and flat screen TV. A perfect place for a family reunion or a quiet week of vacation . The owners are charming and very helpful in ensuring we had a wonderful stay.

Vacation Lake Getaway
We had a great time at this beautiful location on Skaneateles Lake. The location was very private yet close enough to town. We found the house had enough room for all our travelers. The kitchen was well equipped and enjoyed cooking while watching the great scenery out the windows. The awesome deck on top of the boat house was a favorite hang out spot for us. We were lucky enough to enjoy the lake while it was rather refreshing it was very nice to be located directly on the lake to jump in whenever we wanted to do so. The home was comfortable and had two different family rooms if needed. The owners were great and communicated very well with us. They always answered emails and phone calls promptly. This was a bit of a family reunion for us so we enjoyed many parts of the village. The dinner cruise was great and glad we decided to give it a try. All the history behind the homes was a nice touch. We were very happy we decided to rent this cottage and recommend it! Thanks! Tina

Wow...Great Deck space!
We stayed at this home last summer 2009 with another family-4 adults and 4 children. Plenty of space for both families, great counter space & supplies in the kitchen, nice to have 2 seperate living areas (up & down) but the best was the boat house deck...great for relaxing while kids swam & fished. Spent every night at fire pit while kids fished by the well lite dock! Stairs were plentiful but well worth the trip to the boat house.

Brian fell in love with Skaneateles while a student at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY. He introduced his family to the area during a college reunion and we all agreed it was a wonderful place to relax and reconnect.

Why they chose this property

We love the quiet of the southern end of the lake! if we see 10 boats pass by on a summer day that is a lot and the peacefulness of the area can not be beat. Watching the sun come up across the lake is always beautiful!

What makes this property unique

Being located off the Glen Haven Rd allows for long quiet walks or runs passing farms and horses and very few cars.
