This beautiful two bedroom modern guest house is newly built and recently completed in December 2018.

The guest house sleeps up to 6 and is situated on 5 river front acres midway between the the town of Fernie and Fernie Alpine Resort. It is less than a 5 minute drive to town, the ski hill, or the provincial park which translates to dining, fishing, mountain biking, nordic and downhill skiing at your finger tips.

This upper floor rental features in floor heat, vaulted ceilings, and large windows to take advantage of the breathtaking vistas of the ski hill and down the Lizard Range.

There is a hot tub situated in the backyard for guests to use with phenomenal views.

The open concept kitchen and living area are conducive to both social gatherings or meditative gazing of mountain views. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a custom counter height dining table/island and efficient cooking area. The living area with the large and panoramic windows is both cozy and spacious. Whether you are cooking, socializing or relaxing the built in speakers and sound system will help set the mood.

The media room features 5.1 surround sound, large screen TV (Netflix included) and a large, comfy sectional couch for family movie nights.

The master bedroom features a queen bed and views towards the Elk River and beyond.

The second bedroom features a twin over double bunk bed and daybed which works either as a twin or queen bed. This bedroom features views of the ski hill.

Laundry facilities include a washer and dryer (detergent included).

A ski locker is conveniently located at the front of the guest house for safe storage of skis and snowboards.

The bathroom is spacious and spa like. Soak in the tub and gaze towards Castle Rock, you just may glance upon the local fox or a herd of elk wandering through the field.

Parking is ample just in front of the guest house.

Please note: there is a bachelor suite directly below the guesthouse. It is entirely separate asides from the shared ski locker. If there are guests staying in the bachelor suite at the same time, please be courteous when it comes to parking and sharing the driveway (there is lots of room).

Perfect Stay
We have stayed her a few times before and it is a favorite for us. Thé condo is very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Nice and close to the ski hill! We really enjoyed our visit and will be back again!!

What a great place!

Convenient and comfortable
This house was exactly as we expected - it was tidy, well equipped, spacious and bright. The location made it easy to get into town and up to the hill and Fernie Provincial Park. The place was tidy and well laid out and there was plenty of room for a family of four. The hot tub and picnic table out back made a good outdoor space for us to use. We would stay here again.

We are a young family with three kids (ages 8, 6, and 3) who love to get outside and take advantage of what Fernie has to offer. We have lived in Fernie for 15+ years and have no plans on leaving anytime soon! Fernie is an amazing place to raise our kids and live our life.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property over two years ago. Its close location to the town of Fernie, yet still being on 5 acres with river frontage, was an opportunity too good to pass up. Building this beautiful guest house is the first step in our long term vision for this property.

What makes this property unique

A lot of thought went into the creation of the guest house. The windows from the living room and kitchen which look out onto the Lizard Range, views towards the Elk River from the master bedroom and the bathroom, putting in a private hot tub for people to enjoy after a big day of their chosen activities. The media room is separate so that people can socialize and relax with each other in the living room. The in-floor heat provides a cozy and quiet warmth. The separate toilet means people can shower or bathe without a line-up for the toilet forming ;) A washer and dryer has been installed as we know how great it is to be able to do laundry after a muddy day of mountain biking, or hiking in the woods with kids. We chose to put a ski locker out front so that gear can be stored safely. The metal steps and roof are designed in such a way that even in the winter, they will be clear of snow.
We hope you will love the guest house as much as we do!
