Perfect Location!
We loved this unit! The location was just perfect — sand and water steps from the door. We sat on the balcony for breakfast in the morning and wine in the evening, with beach volleyball and various activities on the water to watch. The walk or bike ride (on the provided bikes) around the bay to the ocean side was easy and enjoyable. And the drive to various tourist sights was much easier than we expected. It was quite hot while we were there, so cooling the unit at night was a bit of a challenge. During the day we could run the portable air conditioner while we were in the unit. There was construction that limited our access to the condo for the first two days of our visit (and started early in the morning for the duration), but there was clear signage on the street to inform us of the details. There are a few things that would improve the comfort of guests: there are only 4 hangers in the closet; it might be time for a new mattress; and some blinds or drapes to block the sun in the afternoon would be a huge help. The instructions provided were clear and detailed, so we had no problems with the multi-step check-in and out process— Thanks Robin! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your San Diego condo!!
