PANORAMIC OCEAN VIEW condo at Aston Ka’anapali Shores is located on the top floor right in the center of the resort's “horseshoe” configuration. The resort is located right on the beach.

The unit sleeps a family of 4 comfortably.

We manage the unit ourselves. The pictures you see are of our unit. We only have one unit to rent. The booking calendar and the rental rates on this listing are kept up to date. If a date shows as available, then it is available.

TIP - VRBO has recently instituted a "service fee" of 4 - 9% which they charge to you when using their new online payment system. Of course, you are welcome to use the VRBO system, if you wish. You can avoid their fee by not using their payment system at all. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO AVOID USING THEIR PAYMENT SYSTEM AND ITS EXTRA FEES, THEN PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ON "BOOK IT NOW". Declining a booking requesting to use their payment system results in our listing being downgraded in their search algorithm. We have directly billed guests for years using our own PayPal account. Simply send an inquiry to reserve the dates. We will send a PayPal invoice directly to you.

Our cleaning fee is included in our rental rate. There are no "resort fees". The only additional charge you pay in addition to rent and state tax is parking at $9/day which is paid directly to the resort.

We can hold dates for short periods while you arrange air travel. Most flights leave Maui late in the evening. Late checkout arrangements are often available, depending the next check-in. We require a 50% deposit to book with the remaining 50% due 30 days prior to arrival. Our cancellation policy is to return 90% of any amount that we are able to generate from re-renting your cancelled dates. We do not re- rent it out on a reduced rent basis.

The major renovation of the Garden Pool (there are two pools) is now complete and very nice. It is ideal for children with depth of 3' - 4' plus a 9" deep section for small children. The main pool beside the beach is now much quieter.

A note about our beach - high tides and large North Pacific storms during back to back El Nino years have been causing beach erosion all along Ka'anapali Beach (and the Hawaiian islands in general) Our section of the beach is no exception. At times, up to 4 feet of sand is pushed to the south. It usually gets pushed back by summer storms to the south. The appearance of our beach changes significantly throughout the year.

From the balcony you have a sweeping view of the ocean, the nearby islands of Lanai and Molokai, and the tropical sunsets; while below the resort's lush tropical garden is filled with tropical birds , a waterfall feature and koi ponds.

The unit has been completely remodeled and refurnished. Upgrades included a Murphy bed unit with twin pillow top mattresses in the living room (no more sofa bed), a larger bathroom with a doorless glass and tile shower (no tub), granite counters throughout, new cabinets (lots of storage space), new living room and bedroom furniture (including a King-sized bed), travertine tile floor, two Sony flat screens with DVD players and HD TV cable boxes (most units in the resort do not provide HD signals), computer station, and an X-Box 360 with a small assortment of age appropriate games. In 2015 we replaced the patio doors window and screens, and replaced the window coverings.

The stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and wash/dryer unit make your stay flexible. Beach towels and bath supplies are included.

The property at Ka’anapali Shores is a ten acre resort located right on Ka’anapali North Beach with a spacious open-air lobby, two swimming pools, two hot tubs, mini-market, beauty salon, activities/tours desk, ATM, DVD rental, beachside restaurant and bar, flower shop, gym (extra charge which was $10/day or $40/week last we heard), sports-wear shop, tiki torch ceremonies, and beautiful tropical plants and flowers throughout the grounds.

There is a large coral reef right off the beach (lots of sea turtles). Consider an introductory scuba lesson, offered daily at the main pool.

From the condo, you are five minutes by car to the shops of Whaler’s Village, the golf resort of Kapalua, and the restaurants and shopping of Lahaina Town. Right across the street you will find a large grocery store open from 5 am to 2 am, coffee shop, pizza and pasta restaurant, clothing/gift stores, nail and hair salon, and eateries. If you enjoy walking, you can take a ten minute walk north to the local farmers’ market.

We have on-island maintenance support for any issues that may arise during your stay. We can also arrange for daily or weekly cleaning at an additional cost.

Upgraded Internet - the unit has been upgraded to include its own secure high speed wireless network available to our guests which is much faster than the Resort's system. This improvement will make a significant difference for those wishing to use the internet during their stay

Our resort – Ka'anapali Shores is right in the heart of Ka’anapali and all the activities that it’s known for around the world.

A nearby oceanside boardwalk takes you south to Whalers Village, a world class shopping village which has 70+ shops, cafes, and elegant restaurants – you can walk it in 45 minutes along the ocean.

Ka’anapali has the right mixture of sun, rain, and mist to support two golf courses. Kaanapali Golf Resort's Royal Kaanapali Course and the Kaanapali Kai Course. The Kapalua Resort courses are a 10 minute drive north.

Right across the street from the Resort's entrance is a full service grocery/liquor store along with other shops and restaurants.

Ka'anapali Shore is very child friendly.
