The Cottage is minutes from the tourist attractions and surrounded by miles of biking and hiking trails. Two upstairs bedrooms, with a sofa bed in the living room, a cozy dining area and full kitchen make it available for couples, friends and families. The location is perfect for visits to Covenant College.

Perfect location!
We traveled here for our summer vacation with our two children (8 & 10). It was the perfect location for all the things - Cloudland Canyon, Rock City, Ruby Falls, Coker Car Museum, and the aquarium. The hosts were great, even giving us additional places to visit and suggestions for dining. We will definitely visit again!

What lovely hosts!
These hosts go way beyond expectations in helping their guests feel comfortable and cope with being away from home. They are so conveniently close to Covenant that staying there while visiting our daughter was so much less complicated than it could have been.

Beautiful cottage in perfect location
Located right on top of Lookout Mountain on the GA side. Also, equal distances from top locations like Rock City and Ruby Falls. Every aspect of our stay was wonderful and we even stayed an extra night.

We met here on Lookout Mountain as students at Covenant College and were married in 1971. Gary retired after 45 years as a History teacher. Our family of 7 has grown to include the next generation of 8 delightful grandchildren. We love visiting national parks and have traveled extensively overseas. We're always grateful to come back to our home in the woods on Lookout Mountain!

We built our own log home 36 years ago and The Cottage at Wayside in 2003. Gary's first retirement project was The Cabin at Wayside. It's a pleasure to share this wonderful location with our guests.
