Excellent property
My spouse and I like active vacations and this unit was perfect as a base for exploring the island. Leila was very responsive and the property was nicer than the photos show. The construction on the property grounds is mostly complete and certainly didn't impact our stay. Princeville is good location for hiking the Na Pali coast, hanging out in Hanalei and Kapa'a. It's close enough to Lihue airport, so travel in and out was great. We hiked in the Waimea Canyon, which is a bit of a drive to and from, but not bad. We spent some time looking at other areas for condos while we were on the island and concluded that Princeville is ideal if you like peace and quiet. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils, cutlery, etc., and the books were helpful for activity planning. The beach is a bit of a trek, but the benefit is that it was almost deserted, even during the Christmas holiday break. The pool was clean and refreshing after a day of hiking. The breeze cooled the unit down nicely and made for comfortable sleeping. Looking forward to another visit!

Wonderful view!
This property was so well appointed. We had beach chairs, snorkeling gear, an umbrella, plenty of cookware and dishes, beach towels and sunblock. Leila was very responsive, the condo was very clean and easy to find based on the owner's directions. We had a wonderful week in this lovely home.

Leila was apologetic and claims she had no idea the pool was still closed since November. She suggested we trespass at other resorts since she has done it before. Makes you wonder how often the pool is actually open. She will claim I was unreasonable about my disappointment with pool closure.

We loved this unit. It is up high ("like a treehouse" was my wife's comment) so gets cool breezes and has a great view of the ocean from the lanai. Would definitely stay here again!

Thank you Leila for being a great host and with a wonderful place to stay in Princeville on Kauai. She was most helpful and accommodating in our communications. Her place at Sealodge was better than expected with fabulous views of the mountains and superb location near many activities in the Hanalei Bay area. We most enjoyed the private Sealodge beach with good snorkeling and frequent sights of sea turtles, as well as the communal bench nearby on a grass bluff overlooking the ocean. We saw passing and playing whales and porpoises daily. We liked the weathered wood shingle look of the Sealodge buildings. Her spacious one-bedroom unit on the top floor location felt private and quiet. It was exceptionally clean and neat upon arrival. The mirrored walls in the Dining Room and Living Room made the space feel large and open. It has large, tinted windows and sliding glass door to Lanai that when fully open allows good natural air circulation. The unit also has neat peekaboo views of the ocean from the Living Room, Lanai and Kitchen windows. The kitchen was well equipped for food prep and cooking with full size stove and refrigerator. We found everything we needed to eat in or prepare meals on the go for our outdoor adventures. The unit was also well equipped for beach activities. We would happily use Leila’s place again when visiting Kauai. Highly recommended for those seeking comfort, fabulous views and superb location. Jack B. Gloucester, MA
