Marble floors, Corian counters, free wifi, and A/C. .Very well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, range, and refrigerator, free wifi. Cable TV in both bedrooms and living room. Pillow-top king bed in master bedroom, pillow-top queen in 2nd bedroom. Two full baths. Stacked washer/dryer for your private use. Free Wifi internet access in condo. Elevator, heated pool with jacuzzi spa, beach and picnic area with oceanfront BBQ's right outside. Spectacular 180-degree views of ocean, sunsets, dolphins, whales, and turtles.

On the grounds is Da Poke Shack (authentic Hawaiian seafood). Five minutes to white (magic sands) sands beach and Kahalu'u Bay. Snorkel with turtles and dazzling tropical fish.

Love Kona Bali Kai
What could you say negative about an oceanfront property that has everything you need and an always interesting view from the deck. We have stayed in several different units at Kona Bali Kai over the last 15 years - this is the best. Love how the kitchen has been redone. Considering the unit is right on the ocean and at the mercy of the salt sea spray, it is in fabulous shape.

Another Amazing Vacation at Our Home Away from Home
Thanks again Renee for your hospitality and allowing us the privilege of staying in your lovely condo during our vacation. The condo has everything you need during your stay except groceries. It's wonderful that previous guests leave their condiments and surplus provisions for the next guest. We really appreciate it and hope the guests checking in after us appreciate the "pay it forward" approach. It's nice to have coffee available as soon as you wake up in the morning before making your trek out for groceries. We spend a lot of time at the condo because of the amazing views from the lanai. We saw turtles in the water and suntanning on the beach below; dolphins doing their swim by and jumping and frolicking in the water and of course, the majestic whales. More sightings than we've ever experienced before. Single whales but most spectacular is seeing mothers with their babies being protected by the escort whales. Babies breaching; momma tail slapping to keep boats and other whales at bay. You didn't even need binoculars to enjoy the magnificent display. We also really enjoy the pool on site to cool down on hot days. There is so much to see and do on the Big Island or as little as you like. We absolutely love it here which is why we've been vacationing on the Big Island since 2011. We've been staying at the Kona Bali Kai since 2012 and love this condominium property. We've stayed at Renee's condo three times now and are looking forward to returning in 2025. Aloha!

Perfect five star stay
To be quick: super cozy and convenient location, and an amazing waterfront. I can't imagine another condo being as well stocked (kitchen, beach, etc.) Personally, I would be highly suspicious of any non-perfect reviews for this place. We would absolutely stay there again!

Oceanfront Paradise
We stayed at this lovely appointed oceanfront condo for about 17 days in March 2020 and just returned home from our stay March 1 to April 3, 2023. Rene, the owner, is an extreme pleasure to deal with from booking until departure. Rene promptly resolves any issues that may arise during your stay. This is very comforting to know when renting a property. She truly cares about your stay being a truly pleasurable experience. We are looking forward to returning again in December 2023 for another 3 weeks and in March 2025 for another month. The condo is fully equipped with all you need during your stay. There is a washer/dryer in the condo; a large cooler and freezer blocks; lots of beach mats and boogie boards and other water toys. It's wonderful to have the use of condiments left by previous guests and to be able to return the favor to newly arriving guests. The spectacular oceanfront lanai is graced with the likes of outrigger canoes paddling by; spinner dolphins swimming by; whales spouting and breaching and turtles in the waters or on the beach below. You can also enjoy surfers showing off their craft at the Banyon Beach next door. The amazing Kahaluu snorkel beach is only 10 min down the road. You can catch the Kona Trolley across the street and it will drop you off out front of the Kona Bali Kai. There is a lovely pool; hot tub and sunbathing lounge area in the condominium complex. We have been staying in the fabulous Kona Bali Kai condominium complex since 2012.

Why they chose this property

The Kona Bali Kai is a beautiful location as close to the ocean as you can get. It's very well kept and close to everything. We looked at many oceanfront locations, but none compared to the Bali Kai as far as proximity to the ocean surf.

What makes this property unique

The condo is private, on the top floor, close to elevator (but not too close), and beautifully furnished, with A/C. Enjoy the most awesome ocean views and sunsets from our spacious and private lanai. The sounds of the surf are breathtaking. Free wifi provided, flatscreen TV in living room and both bedrooms. 2 full baths with shower and bathtub in both. Our guests tell us they have never seen a more well-stocked condo. We try to provide everything you will need - down to laundry soap, fabric softener, paper towels, kleenex, condiments, spices, and everything you'd need to cook and bake. You can watch the surfers from the lanai, along with the turtles who live in the tide pools. There's a store right across the street and Da Poke shack right on the premises - a traditional Hawaiian seafood deli.
