About this property

Private River and Mountain Views from Cozy Cabin, Covered Deck and Beach!

Rental and cleaning policy: We do not rent for 48-72 hours between reservations; then we disinfect countertops, handles, and switches in addition to regular cleaning. This is done to protect our guests and our cleaning staff.

Enjoy summer fun on the river, with plenty of space to roam and so much gold rush history and indigenous antiquities to explore right here on the property! Hang out on your private location on the beach, splash in the river and the creek, play frisbee on the field, gold pan, float, rest and dream! The large beach is situated on a bend and offers unobstructed views of river and mountains upstream and downstream. Enjoy the large flat area for sports, and try your hand at the horseshoe pits.

This gem on the river In Gold Rush, hiking and wine/beer tasting territory is a perfect base for exploring. Ideally situated 2 miles from Marshall Gold State Park. Walk to Lotus Pub, The River Store, All Outdoors Rafting. 75 minutes from Tahoe skiing. Great romantic weekends or family gatherings. Or book your spring/summer river fun now! Perfect for launching or landing your own craft.

This large cabin offers unencumbered views of river, meadows and mountains from its large kitchen, two seating areas, and large covered deck upstairs. Downstairs is an airy game room and queen bedroom, with a new Gold Rush style kitchenette and bathroom.

The well-equipped large kitchen offers pantry basics, and outside the front door is a barbecue with charcoal and firestarter. Bedrooms are spaced apart, with two upstairs and one downstairs. Each level has its own bathroom and kitchen or kitchenette. All beds are organic with quality bedding, and all laundry and cleaning products are natural/organic. The game room has a pro foosball table, wifi TV, table, books, games, and art supplies.

The beach area may occasionally be shared with guests in the second cabin. Well-separated picnic areas are provided for each cabin. The cabins are set apart and fully private from each other. Larger parties may inquire about renting both cabins.

Great family river house
Our family of four loved our stay. The location was perfect for playing on the river, throwing a frisbee, and playing badminton, and was just a short drive from a couple of amazing hikes. The house was extremely comfortable, with beautiful views, high quality linens, a well equipped kitchen (we forgot to bring vanilla extract for our pancakes and were thrilled to find some in the cupboard) , and a very cool bathroom. After a leisurely morning and a midday hike we’d settle in with our books and board games, cook dinner, and watch a movie downstairs. The foosball table was a big hit with the kids. Jane was very accessible and responsive. We hope to come back in the summer!

Clean, quiet and relaxing!
We had a most wonder time at your beautiful cabin. Such a beautiful view overlooking the river. The cabin is extremely clean and the bed was so comfy with the awesome organic linens. We enjoy dining out on the front deck listening to the peaceful sound of the river. The kitchen has a ton of room and stocked with everything you would ever need. Close to restaurants and Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park. Well worth the hike up to James Marshall Monument and other historical history...very interesting! Jane is a delight to talk to and very accommodating. A great place to just kick back and relax in a quite peaceful environment. Thank you Jane!

Awesome trip
We really enjoyed the house and will most likely be coming back next year. It is a great house if you are a rafter like we are because the house is on the river.
