This property needs upgrading
This is a prime example of a property that could be/should be wonderful but, that isn't being maintained properly. The basics are all here - it's a good location close to the promenade and shopping/restaurants; its a good size; the kitchen has everything you might need; there's a big balcony with a peak at the ocean and, there's an elevator to get you up to the 6th floor happily. That said, this apartment needs a thorough cleaning- even the walls are greasy. The smell of mildew and sewer come through strongly (especially in the ensuite to the bedroom); and most of the furniture is so old its cracking (the large main chair in the living room), or sagging/old and sad looking. The bed needs replacing, it's 2 thin single bed mattresses that have seen much better days. Cluttering up the balcony are old, rusted pieces of furniture, dead plants still sitting in pots and faded old cushions for the loungers. During our stay, one of the big sliding glass windows in the bedroom was badly broken and taped together - we were told on arrival it wouldn't be fixed until after our stay. Finally, there were renovations going on upstairs (I believe the floors were being sanded and nailed down). The noise drove us out of the apartment for several days during our 'relaxing' holiday and have me a bad headache (the hammering went on and on). While I realize the manager had no control over the apartment above us, his lack of interest and non responsiveness (the owner didn't respond to my message either) says a lot about the level of care at this apartment. One final note - this area is very noisy at night. There is a nightclub across the street that gets going late and empties out at about 5 am; garbage (including bottles) gets picked up at midnight; and street work goes on all night. The windows to the apartment are not soundproof so sleeping can be difficult. We would most definitely NOT recommend this stay.

Great location and patio
Had a lovely time at Yves' property. It's located in a great location, close to the beach, buses, restaurants, and grocery stores. Kitchen is fully stocked. We spent a ton of time on the balcony which was lovely.

Really good spacious apartment. Good location. Clean everywhere apart from the knives, forks and spoons. There was also a leak in a bathroom. The electricity cut off numerous time probably because of the leak. Good overall though

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Not the most modern apartment but it was well equipped. The location is 10/10. Amazing view from the terrace. Walking distance to everything. I would recommend this apartment to friends and family in the future.
