About Carol Sweeney
I love Old Quebec and have lived in Quebec City for almost 27 years. The condo mostly has full-time renters but sometimes, in between longer rentals we like to help people enjoy Old Quebec and live like a local.
Carol Sweeney purchased this Condo in 2005
Why Carol Sweeney chose Centre-Ville
This condo is located in the heart of the upper Old City near City Hall and also at the start of the amazing rue St. Jean. I like that it is on the main level of the building so you don't have to worry about any stairs, the television is in the bedroom and the sofa bed is great if you are looking for a place for your family.
What makes this Condo unique
Although you will be in the heart of the Old City you will be on a quiet one-way street. It is easy to unload quickly and then park your vehicle so that you can explore the whole area by foot. The condo is comfortable to come back to and rest up for your next adventure.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Great location. Ground floor Great hosts.. Everything you need for a short stay in a fabulous city.
lovely apartment, great location
Nice apartment in great location; quiet, close to everything in the Old City; clean and well-supplied.
Cozy, quiet apartment steps away from Old Quebec activities
Lovely ground-floor apartment nestled in the centre of Vieux Québec. Great restaurants featuring local cuisine and great shopping featuring local designers are literally steps away on Rue Saint Jean. We spent two days wandering the streets from the Old Port to the Plains of Abraham and everything in between. At no time did we need to use our vehicle to get around.
Communication with Carol was excellent and we were met promptly by Patrice on arrival who let us in and showed all the amenities of the apartment. An outstanding experience from start to finish.
Great location,nice host
Perfect location to visit Old Quebec- we never moved our car. The unit is small-and old--but OK, even for a retired NJ couple-and the location makes it worth it. Our host Patrice was very hospitable. The queen bed is comfortable. The bathroom is really small, and the fixtures are old. None of this bothered us in the end. 60" TV with cable was nice for decompression.
The Best Location
We arrived on Monday and contact Pat. He met us at the condo, got us settled and took my husband to park our car. He let us know where a grocery store was. We ate at Portofino's on Carol's recommendation and we loved it, as we did the bagettes and chocolate and St. Pat's Pub. We were so near anything you wanted to do or see in Quebec City. We enjoyed our whole stay, the condo was perfect. We would stay again if visiting Quebec City.
What makes this property so good is the location. Situated in old Quebec, it is a ten minute walk to everything you might want to see or do - Chateau Frontenac, ( where most of the tours begin), the Citadel, Farmers Market, excellent restaurants.
Walking distance to the summer music festival stages, the boardwalk at the historical Chateau Frontenac Hotel, the funicular and the Cathedral-Basilica of Notre-Dame of Quebec.
