Small town living, private bedroom in our home, full use of kitchen. Trails & beaver ponds nearby. Full-sized bed. Gear/motorcycle space in the garage. Our other rooms are Pikes Place (queen bed) and Alpine Aspen (king bed and private bath). Dogs are required to be with their owner at all times and have no history of aggression toward other dogs or people. Breakfast is continental.

Welcoming and Genuine
Both Gayle and Ray were tremendously nice, I arrived to their lovely home after 3am due to a flight delay, and Gayle made the check-in process stress free. Upon arrival, my room was heated nicely, and extra blankets were also placed on my bed when I expressed that I run cold. When I finally met Gayle and Ray, they were extremely nice and I felt like family, and not a stranger. I was always asked how I was doing and if I needed anything, they engaged in light conversation with me, and we talked about whatever came to mind (because I wanted conversation) 😌…. Even still, I felt total freedom in their home to stay in my room for hours, or watch movies for hours in the living room unbothered. All that to say, I felt completely comfortable in everything that I did while staying in their wonderful home. This is definitely a place, and a people to revisit!!

So cute and quiet!
The home was located on a beautiful, quiet street with a nice front porch to sit on. Home was very clean and well labeled with room keys and fridge space. It was great to have some coffee and breakfast available. Felt like I was staying with a family member or close friend. Thank you!

Ray and I like to hike, ride motorcycles, walk dogs and visit hot springs. We are professionals in telecommunication and business development. I help non-profits by assisting in development of their fundraising systems. I'm also an artist with a studio and gallery in Colorado Springs. Ray has worked in the hospital system for over 30 years.

Why they chose this property

This is a peaceful area of Woodland Park, which is close enough to downtown for walking and the same distance in the opposite direction for forest trails. You have full use of the kitchen, a living room with large screen TV (netflix and HBO) and laundry area too.

What makes this property unique

If you are traveling with bikes and/or motorcycles you can part them in the garage. There are also tools for making repairs.
