About the property

Mobile Home, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 5-7)

This is a lovely remodeled, comfortably furnished, pet friendly home right in the middle of the Tri-Cities, Tri-State area. If you are in the area for the many fishing, baseball, soccer, or basketball tournaments, they are all just minutes away. Seven miles from Bristol Motor Speedway!

Fishermen: You'll be right in the middle of the great destinations of South Holston Lake, Boone Lake, and Watauga Lake. You'll be right in between two great trout streams as seen on ESPN, the South Holston and Watauga rivers. Also there are very many little known creeks that are full of trout.

White Water Rafting: It's available on the nearby Watagua River or the Nolichucky River (about a 30 or 40 min. drive).

Jonesborough, home of The National Story Telling Festival is about 30 minutes away.

People from all over the world will be in attendance.

The Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray is about 20 minutes away.

If motorcycles are your sport, we have a nice garage to park and fine tune your bikes. You'll be just minutes away from US 421, aka 'The Snake'. Check out the 'Country Store' in Shady Valley while your there, you'll love it. There are tons of back roads, gravel roads and mountains to explore as well. Hey, I ride also. Motocross fans and racers, you'll be about 20 minutes from Muddy Creek Raceway.

Mountain Bikes: It's about a 45 minute scenic drive to Damascus, Virginia. That's the home of the world famous 'Virginia Creeper Trail'. If you've not heard of it, look it up online, the place is awesome.

The NASCAR rates do not apply to the drag racing events at Bristol.

About The Owner

We are Tim & Tanya. We have been together pretty much since our first date in 1979!

The Owner purchased this mobile home in 1983

Why The Owner chose Bluff City

We didn't actually buy this as a vacation rental. It was our first real home and we lived there for 20 years. Converting it to a VRBO home just seemed like the thing to do and it's worked out real well and we have met some great people.

What makes this mobile home unique

This isn't a log cabin in the mountains or on the lake or anything but the location is great to do your running around in this area. The neighbors are good people and most have lived there for several years.

Very clean and private

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this property for two weeks while looking for a new home to start a new chapter in our senior lives! Tanya left a beautiful Easter basket full of gifts! The place was spic and span! Lots of room for your fur babies! It is a good location for those traveling from Johnson City, Elizabethton and Bristol! Great value and attention to the travelers needs! We will be back for closing of our home, if they will have us!

Truly a home away from home

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much. Tim and Tanya made sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything, all we needed to do was call. The gift basket was a nice surprise with toys for our dogs, cookies and a teddy bear for our grandchild and nice treats for the adults. Tanya left yummy brownies to munch on all week !! We enjoyed the fenced in yard that the dogs could run and play as well as our grandson. We were local residents that was having our hardwood floors redone so we knew the area and we have to brag on what a great area we live in. It was a little noisy at night for a few hours due to a local business but it didn't cause a problem at all. I found the bird seed in the garage and enjoyed putting it in the bird feeder and watching the birds ! This is truly a nice little place and would be perfect for anyone visiting our beautiful area. Thank you Tim and Tanya for your hospitality. Debbie and Mike

Like staying at a Relatives house

  • 5 of 5

We went with 5 kids and 2 adults there was plenty of room for everyone to Spread out. The yard was completely fenced so none escaped (lol). This Home was full of everything we needed and then some. It was a quiet place to stay. We were in town for a wedding and Tanya knew that and brought extra makeup mirrors for my girls they were there when we got there. We have stayed at several rentals before none will ever compare to the hospitality we recieved here!!! EVER!! These host are great! One of my kids forgot their toothbrush and instead of rushing back out to one of the many close by stores we did as the note said and snooped around and yes their it was a brand new in the package toothbrush. I can go on and on with the extras that were there; coffee, tp, paper towels, salt, trash bags and lots of pillows. The beds were comfy also. We arrived and there was NO BAKE COOKIES AND BROWNIES HOMEMADE by our host. I can not say enough good things about this rental but when we go visit family in that area again we will be staying here!!!!!
