Skiing at Lost Trail
My son and I stayed here for the first part of a ski trip. It was a great stay. Property was very clean, homey, and was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The decorations had a mountain / cozy cabin feel. Hosts were attentive, polite, and caring. They left fresh eggs and bacon with a personal note in the refrigerator as a "enjoy a mountain breakfast on us." We would stay here again.

Beautiful get away!
It was the amazing time. The jacuzzi was fabulous after a long day of skiing. We had a wonderful time there, with easy access to the mountain and the dogs loved being able to play in the snow. This is a great place to bring the family and enjoy the snowy weather.

Relaxing
The place was great. Very relaxing. Just wish there would have been a balcony or a covered porch. Very clean and well stocked.

We enjoy horseback riding, skiing and riding bikes. Donna is a self-employed mortgage broker and Jim is a rancher, producer, arranger, and both work out of our home and are usually available. Why they chose this property

After my dad moved to Montana in 1983, this valley became my ONLY vacation destination until we moved here in 2006. The Bitterroot Valley, Ravalli County, has the best climate and beauty that Montana has to offer, located in a "banana belt" situated in a valley with a river running through it surrounded by mountains. It is gorgeous here, and of course, backing to the forest service and we are visited by wildlife often

What makes this property unique

Our back yard is the US Forest Service land, the view from the hot tub is amazing, our horses are gorgeous and wildlife visit quite often
