This half cabin is a great retreat just six miles from downtown Boulder. It is tucked along the walls of Boulder Canyon on Boulder Creek making it an ideal location for fly fishermen, rock climbers, hikers, and nature enthusiasts. Additionally, there are nearby opportunities for skiing, cycling and mountain biking, tubing, swimming, kayaking, and scenic touring.

The cabin is divided into two private studio apartments, each with its own entrance. The setting is wooded and includes gardens, a wood stove for campfires and outdoor cooking, and access to enjoying Boulder Creek.

There are three cabins on our property. We live in the first cabin, so we can answer guests' questions and quickly attend to guests' needs.

Our cabin is a good base camp for exploring Colorado with proximity to:
Eldora Ski Resort - 14 miles
Indian Peaks Wilderness - 18 miles
Historic casino towns, Blackhawk and Central City - 28 miles
Red Rocks Amphitheater and Performing Arts Center - 35 miles
Denver city attractions - 36 miles
Rocky Mountain National Park - 39 miles

Boulder Canyon is a magnificent natural attraction connecting the plains with the peaks of the Rockies in a short distance. At the entrance to the canyon is a park featuring enormous red rocks tilted vertically with spectacular views of the Boulder Valley.

The Boulder Creek Path, popular with cyclists and hikers, follows the creek for several miles in the canyon. A couple miles above our cabin is scenic Boulder Falls and the dramatic cliffs of The Narrows. Popular destinations for rock climbers are throughout the canyon.

Public transportation stops adjacent to our property for travel up the canyon to Nederland and Eldora ski resort or down the canyon to fine dining, boutique shopping, and entertainment in Boulder.

Jeff is a biologist and has traveled extensively around the state. He will be delighted to help you tailor your explorations and adventures to your interests. He is also familiar with the natural history of Colorado.

We welcome guests from all backgrounds and orientations. And we love to share our beautiful state with international visitors!

Cutest VRBO ever!
Very cute cabin 20 minutes from Boulder. Beautiful setting for a quiet weekend away. Cynthia is a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. The kitchen is well appointed and we had everything we needed to make dinner and breakfast. Local snacks provided for our stay and local toiletries in the bathroom. There is a handheld shower head for the bathtub. Attention is given to every detail and we really enjoyed our stay! We would love to come back again- Thank you

Cute, cozy and comfy
We skiied in Eldora and found this quaint cabin very close to the resort down the pass. The host greeted us immediately and gave us a tour. She provided snacks and even fire wood! Comfortable cabin and cozy environment especially for Florida natives. Definitely gave us the colorado experience

Romantic Night Away
Such a great little cozy place to get away for the evening. Quiet clean and warm. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back. We had a wonderful guest that greeted us in the morning. Lupa.. the mountain pup was such a great friend to visit with before we headed home. We really enjoyed our evening and the home like feel. Thanks again!!

My husband and I love nature and the outdoors. Jeff is a biologist, and I am a musician who has found a love for gardening and hosting. We are transplanted easterners, raised in Pennsylania, later living and learning in Ithaca, New York and Morris Plains, New Jersey. We landed in Colorado ten years ago and have been enjoying the adventure of living under the shadow of the great Rockies ever since.

We are avid explorers of Colorado and would be delighted to suggest local and regional adventures to our guests.
