Each cottage has 1 bedroom and bath (cottage 2 has shower only), a sleeping loft (nook), kitchen/ living room and studio/sitting room with woodstove. All the basics are supplied for you. Wireless internet at no extra charge. During the summer, the owners live in nearby cottage.
Each cottage is move-in ready, with dishes, bed linens and towels all supplied for you. For the artistically inspired, there is an art table and some basic supplies ready for you.

The cottages are each 650 sq. ft. and ideal for a single,couple, or small family. They are set up to be artist-friendly, with art table and some basic supplies. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a double mattress in the sleeping loft/nook.
Each cottage is fully furnished and equipped; suitable for guests who are coming to Cortes with minimal personal belongings....just bring the essentials as everything else is here for you!
The property is very close to the general store, post office, community hall, natural food co-op and cafe. There are many great walks, in the woods, to the lake, and to the ocean and lagoon.

Summer activities are plentiful on Cortes; studio tours, great events at the nearby community hall, Friday market, Hollyhock presentations, etc. Its also a perfect place to take a break and 'just be'. During fall, winter, and spring months, experience solitude and quiet in the beauty of the northwest. All year, there is a general store, food co-op, post office, medical clinic, community hall, and credit union all within a very short walk.
