This is a single story home so no going up or down stairs or family members sleeping on different levels. There are two steps to enter into the home. This is a pet friendly, non smoking home.

The entire home and yard is yours to enjoy privately! Feel free to use the carport and/or to park additional vehicles on the driveway or the street. This home is a dedicated vacation home. It is professionally cleaned and maintained.

Up to two well behaved and potty trained dogs, at least one year old, are allowed with additional pet fee. If your doggy doesn't meet these requirements, please send the host a note with a little bit of info and a special exception may be granted.

This is a non smoking home. Violators will be fined a $500 cleaning fee. No marijuana, paraphernalia or illegal drug use allowed on the property. Violators must leave property immediately with no refunds. Undisclosed guests or pets will be fined $100 per extra guest/pet/night.

Exterior cameras are on site for security and compliance.

LOCAL RESIDENTS must inquire with hostess about purpose for renting home and IDs for all guests are required. Instant Booking for local residents is not permitted without prior host approval. A prepaid security deposit of $1200 will be required prior to arrival.

A Happy Repeat Customer at the Blue Bungalow
My daughter and I have stayed at the Blue Bungalow several times when we need to come to Spokane. We tried many other places before we settled on the Blue Bungalow because it simply is a great place to stay with all those touches that make a home comfortable. Hilary and Loren are great at ensuring everything is perfect, every single visit. One feature we particularly like is the well stocked kitchen as we prefer to do meals in whenever we visit. Plus we appreciate how clean the kitchen always is, as is the entire house, without the overpowering scent of glade plug-ins, Febreeze, etc. that bother my daughter. Not everyone can handle heavily perfumed bedding or cleaning products. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, everything about the house is perfect in terms of meeting our needs, and I recommend this house and its owners to anyone who enjoys a great place to stay with everything you need while you are there. Just bring your food, or dine out, and you are all set. If we get the opportunity to visit Spokane again, we will be back to the Blue Bungalow or one of its sister properties.

Blue Bungalow the Best
My daughter and I stayed at the Blue Bungalow in November 2022. We have been here before because it is a really great place to stay, and this time was just as nice. We appreciate the extra effort Hilary goes for both staying in touch and all the extra touches the Blue Bungalow has in terms of amenities and decor to make it a home away from home. Everything is really clean too and we appreciate that it is very clean without the overpowering cleaning scents that so many hosts use because some people, like my daughter, have problems with today's overpowering scented cleaners due to asthma or allergies. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook or heat up food. The beds are clean and comfortable and combined with the nice quiet neighborhood, we were able to get a good night's rest. The back yard is fenced and private. There is a nice outdoor table at the side of the house for summer enjoyment, but it was just a little too cold this visit. We really appreciated that there wasn't any snow on the driveway, so I wasn't slipping and sliding on ice like I have done at other homes (thank you!). The house has a good heating system (heat pump) and there is a really nice gas fireplace in the living room that is wonderful on a cold winter day. The Blue Bungalow is a perfect place to stay for my family and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

Another Perfect Stay at the Blue Bungalow
My daughter and I stayed two nights at the Blue Bungalow in October, 2022, and we enjoyed it very much, as we have previously when we have stayed at this house. The owner, Hilary, is great to deal with. She is attentive to her guests and checks in to ensure all is well. The house itself is very clean and nicely furnished, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need to cook or heat up a meal, the neighborhood is quiet, and there is a nice well-kept yard. For this visit we really enjoyed the gas fireplace since it is much cooler now in October than our summer visit when we enjoyed sitting out in the fenced back yard. Everything about this house was perfect for our stay and we plan on returning to the Blue Bungalow for future visits.

Great Stay at the Blue Bungalow
My daughter and I stayed at the Blue Bungalow in August, 2022. We really enjoyed our time there. Hilary is an outstanding host who is very attentive to her guests' needs, her house is very clean, and it is well stocked, including the kitchen, with anything you may need during your visit. The beds are comfortable. We really appreciated the heat pump cooling system during the hot weather too. Good neighborhood with quiet neighbors. Overall an excellent experience and great place to stay in Spokane. We would stay there again.

A Perfect Stay at the Blue Bungalow
My daughter and I stayed at the Blue Bungalow while my daughter had a medical appointment in Spokane. We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Bungalow. We have stayed at the Blue Bunagalow before and it is a favorite. It is always very clean, the décor is very nice, the beds are super comfy and Hilary goes out of her way to ensure her guests are comfortable, including our furry kid who had a nice dog bed, bowls, and even a lovely dog blanket and dog biscuits. We always cook our food while in Spokane and the Blue Bungalow has everything needed in the kitchen (full fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, etc.) The bathrooms are well stocked for everything you need as well. The yard is fully fenced in the back and we found the neighborhood to be quiet and very nice. Being able to park off street is great too. Really, I cannot think of a single negative about this house. We will definitely be back.

My family and I (husband Loren, daughter Courtney, and two doggies) lived in Las Vegas for many, many years. Tired of the never ending HEAT, not to mention the hustle and bustle, we wanted (and NEEDED) a change. From the mountains to the plains, the Ponderosa Pines to the lakes and rivers, the beautiful area, the oh so friendly people, and the change of seasons (yes, even winter!) is what prompted us to quit our corporate jobs, pack up our belongings, and make the move to Spokane!

Our pets are part of our family and when we travel we want to bring them. Locking them up in a cage in a hotel room didn't appeal to us (and I can't imagine that they liked it either) so renting a vacation rental was a perfect solution for us. We've enjoyed vacation rentals throughout the country for over 10 years now so we know what we liked and what didn't work so well for us.

As your hosts, we're here to help but want to give you the space and privacy you desire. The Blue Bungalow is a home designed and dedicated for vacation travel. Our goal is for your stay to be cozy and comfy for the entire family, with all of the fixings of your home, so you'll be five star happy!
