Very Enjoyable Stay
Incredible location. Walking distance to restaurants and stores! Condo well stocked and spacious. Host was very responsive. Enjoyed our stay very much. No major issues, but Condo could use some TLC. Master shower head and kitchen sink had minor leak. No inside handle on master shower. Hard to close door and keep floor dry. Dining room chairs terribly uncomfortable. Headboards in master bedroom knocked against wall with each movement. Would stay again, but would be nice to see some touch up maintenance done and have better quality furniture.

We loved our stay at Key Colony!
Encina was lovely and very easy to reach. The apartment was just fine for a family stay. The two main bedrooms are quite large and have two double beds, great closet space and bathrooms. It may not be ideal for couples, but it is just fine for a family share. The kitchen was well-equipped. There is a pool just in front. It is all very convenient, and Encina was very nice and understanding. Would go back!

A disappointing stay but a beautiful island
The condo is spacious and pretty clean except our feet kept getting black from the dirty floor. It’s located very close to restaurants on the island but it’s a 1/2 mile walk to beach which made it very inconvenient for us. During most of our stay the sargassum (algae) was so bad that we could not use the beach and the smell was unbearable. We had to drive to a park on the end of the island and pay an entrance fee in order to enjoy the beach. The pools on the property were great and not crowded. Kitchen was well stocked and Encina replied in a timely manner however the internet in the living room TV was never fixed so we could not watch anything as a family. The door lock was not working the first night but the issue was fixed. The bidet in the master bathroom was a plus, however the shower door had no handle, the other shower in the condo was missing a door and the bathtub stopper didn’t work. Overall the condo was quite outdated. All of the beds moved (metal frames on wheels) and mattresses were uncomfortably hard. Some of the lamps were broken , the power outlets were old, the vents were dirty, and one of the beds had an unattached headboard. Lizards came in under the door a few times and scared us a bit. The condo has a nice patio but no adequate furniture for sitting or a fan. The check in process was not as smooth as we hoped because the reception lady didn’t speak English and when we needed the security to enter the building they did not pick up the phone till we called 4 times. The security guard at one of the pools was very rude but the issue was addressed by the manager promptly. The bar by the pool was great and offered great food and drinks. Overall our experience was very disappointing and we felt like the cost was very high for the quality of the stay.

Daughter’s Senior Trip Family Vacation
This was our daughter’s senior trip/family vacation! She wanted to go to Miami and we liked staying here where it was quieter. it’s beautiful layout of the gardens and ponds made the walk to the beach so beautiful and relaxing our only issue was a tropical storm!! We made the most of the days due to the weather from the storm and took in the sites in Miami! There are some amazing places to eat close by Whiskey Joe’s was our favorite by far!! Thanks for a great place to stay, we had everything we needed plus some!!

Great Location if you want to be active
The property was well situated by many great restaurants within walking distance. Very active environment when you can run, walk, cycle, and swim. Also the beaches were nice if you just want to relax. The lap pool on the property was a bonus. The condo was clean, spacious and well equipped.
