THE PROPERTY
This Colorado mountain home offers stunning views of Mount Antero, frontage on Brown’s Creek, a mosaic of Ponderosa pines and Aspen groves, and open meadows of native wildflowers.

This 2,300 square-foot home has gorgeous post & beam construction with overload of windows and skylights. Custom-crafted, quintessential and uniquely Colorado! You won’t want to miss the mountain views while enjoying the 1,000 square feet of patio space, or walking the trails down to the creek to find a dreamy spot to hang a hammock. Throw some horseshoes in the pit or have some playtime in the tree fort! There’s no doubt that you’ll want to make the most of these outdoor spaces. At night, you’ll experience a jaw-dropping dark sky with stunning stars, with just the sound of the creek and maybe a few hoot owls to break the quiet.

Three beautifully-appointed bedrooms await for a peaceful night’s slumber! The master bedroom features an en-suite bath, making it your private oasis. You’ll wake feeling refreshed and ready for the next adventure!

THE LOCATION
This home is situated between Buena Vista and Salida - two of Colorado’s premier outdoor adventure mountain towns! Check out Buena Vista’s microbrews and distilleries, trendy food trucks, outdoor equipment shops and river play. Outdoor enthusiasts will be thrilled to find mountain trails just 2 miles from the home, ranging from short destination hikes to 14’er treks! The entire Collegiate Range is right here at your fingertips.

The Arkansas River has activities for everyone, including fly-fishing, white water rafting, SUP’ing, or just a leisure-river float and picnic. The local guides and rental shops can equip your next adventure, or if you come with gear the property has plenty of space at this property to accommodate.

Quiet Mountain Cabin
We throughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and the beds were super comfortable. It had everything we needed for our family of four. We enjoyed our down time in the family room with the view of the mountains. The property was beautiful and well kept.

I'm a wildlife biologist that's been fortunate to have settled in the heart of Colorado. You will find that the house is infused with things that would make a nature-lover happy.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this home before I even stepped inside. The drive through Mesa Antero is all mountain views, winding roads and beautiful homes. The home is set-back and nearly unseen from the road, and the drive through the property is towered by majestic, old Ponderosa pines that opens-up to let the sun shine on this beautifully built home. All you hear is the creek and the birds.
