Welcome to the Stettin Haus!

The Stettin Haus offers a year-round unique, upscale mountain vacation experience. In spring and summer, enjoy the trails, fish the rivers and streams, ride the quad lift to the top of Beech Mountain and enjoy mountain biking, roller skiing, disc golf, and more, all with the breathtaking backdrop of the surrounding mountain views. Enjoy fall as the weather cools down and the vibrant autumn colors command the mountain views. In winter and early spring, enjoy snow skiing and snowboarding on the slopes of Beech Mountain Ski Resort. In the village atop Beech Mountain are the all-new sledding hill, the open-air ice skating rink, and many shops and restaurants.

At the house itself, enjoy the brand new hot tub and the outdoor living area offering a stainless gas grill, a gas log fireplace, a large flat-panel TV with DirecTV satellite programming, and casual, comfortable furnishings as well as outdoor dining. The property is level and well-landscaped and features a fire pit. Highlighting the edge of the property is a mountain creek, which is a safe place for children to splash around and practice fly fishing.

In the main house, you will find a private upstairs master suite with vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, a king-size bed, an HDTV, an ensuite bathroom, a dressing table, a floor mobile air conditioning unit, and a covered Juliette deck. A queen bedroom with a flat panel HDTV, a bunk bedroom with a twin-over-queen hand-hewn log bunk bed, and a ladder-accessed sleeping perch with a twin bed above the entry door and closets are on the main floor. These two bedrooms share a second full bathroom. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area and features vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, a flat panel HDTV with a BluRay player, a gas log fireplace, and a piano that guests are welcome to play. The kitchen is a chef's dream, with high-end stainless appliances, a gas cooktop, a griddle, Keurig and standard coffee pots, and granite countertops. The impressive granite center island is twelve feet long and surrounded by Amish-made bar seats with a unique rustic chandelier, aptly serving as the dining table.

The guest house also features vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings and an open floor plan. The living area offers a comfortable sofa that opens to a sleeper sofa for two and an armchair that focuses on the electric fireplace and brand new flat panel HDTV with DirecTV digital satellite programming. The kitchenette is a dry kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and custom live-edge shelving with ample space for snacks and drinks. The comfy queen bed is tucked around the corner to offer some separation from the living and kitchen areas. The full bathroom is finished nicely with granite and tile and offers a tub and shower. The guest house also has heat and a large, effective mobile floor-unit air conditioner.

The Stettin Haus offers WiFi internet, BluRay and DVD players, six HDTVs with DirecTV programming, a washer and dryer, heat and mobile floor unit air conditioning, as well as ample parking, both level and paved.

Never This One Again.
The house needs lots of TLC. Not clean inside or out. Very sparsely equipped kitchen unless you need multiple coffee pots…which they did have. The nicest part in the house was the kitchen island. The covered outside area was nice, but dirty and messy. IN A NUTSHELL THE HOUSE IS JUST NOT KEPT UP AT ALL!!! You can definitely do wonders with house photos when trying to rent a place.

Family time
So we planned this trip due to my son graduating from high school instead of a party we decided on a mountain trip. The day before we decided to do an early check-in and had no pending hassles online. When we got there the passcode did not work so we called the rental office and they were excellent in resolving the issue and was very pleased with their kindness. We very surprised with all the wildlife on this property within the hour of arrival there was a baby fawn along the side of the house. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and other supplies which was great. The back porch with the tv was very calming in the evenings. The only down fall is this property needs a deep clean.
