This unique, upscale loft is located on Patton Avenue, between Church Street and Lexington Avenue, in the absolute heart of downtown Asheville. Offering 1800 square feet of spacious comfort and located steps away from many of the best galleries, restaurants, entertainment, and shopping in Asheville. The Loft at 35 Patton is owned by Asheville artist Eli Corbin, and is full of her colorful paintings. It was the featured loft on the Asheville Museum Loft and Art tour this year, as well as in 2008.

The loft is located in one of Asheville’s historic buildings. Architectural elements include expansive windows with a view of Church Street, wood floors, original tin ceiling, custom forged wrought iron railing, and a beautifully designed copper surround fireplace. It features a split level living room, spacious kitchen, open family room, and two bedrooms - each with private baths.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all dishes, utensils, and stainless steel appliances.

The guest bedroom offers a queen-size bed with Stearns and Foster pillowtop mattress, while the master suite offers a king-size pillowtop. Luxurious linens and robes are supplied for your comfort.

Beautifully appointed, this loft includes modern furnishings paired with antiques, original art, and various imported one-of-a-kind pieces. Many of the art and design items are available for purchase.

The Loft at 35 Patton is located on the second floor with 2 entrances. One is off the elevator with access to both College Street and Patton Avenue and the other is a stair access directly

off Patton Avenue. The College Street entrance is directly across from the Rankin Parking Deck.

To make your stay even more enjoyable, treat yourself to a massage at Spa Theology, just 2 doors down...and as a bonus, our guests receive a discount. Also, you will be directly across the street from Tops For Shoes - a well known shoe store that has a huge selection of footwear for the entire family.

About Eli Corbin, owner

Originally from North Florida, I have lived in Asheville full time for many years. I purchased this loft in 2006 thinking I would share it with others as a vacation rental and eventually move in myself. The location is absolutely the BEST Asheville has to offer.

The loft is filled with my artwork, which I have on display, as well as for sale. I have a studio at 170 Lyman Street in the Warehouse studios in the River Arts District. I rotate works from studio to the loft in order to provide my guests with an in home gallery type experience while staying at the loft.

Why Eli Corbin, owner chose Downtown

Asheville is such a vibrant and diverse city. It is small enough to walk to everything, yet large enough to have many choices regarding restaurants, clubs, galleries and shopping. I researched the market for a while before buying, but really liked the look, location and the fact that the parking deck is right across the street from the building. This loft is in the most central part of downtown.

What makes this condo unique

I love staying at the loft because it is so centrally located. When you walk out the door you are within walking distance to everything downtown. I've parked in the Rankin deck on Friday and not returned until Sunday. It is a great place to have friends over for drinks and then go out dancing, or to a movie at The Fine Arts, or catch a play at ACT, etc. Tops For Shoes is a large shoe store that is just across from the entrance on College Street, Spa Theology is 2 doors down, Anthropologie is just around the corner on Lexington and the list goes on.

It is also a great place to escape alone for some down time.

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed staying at the loft. Number 1, talk about atmosphere! Great vibe and super comfortable. We had no issues and nothing comes to mind regarding any repairs. We will certainly keep the lofts in mind next time we visit Asheville.

Spa Theology is 2 doors down from the entry to the Loft. They provide a 10% discount if you mention you are a guest at the loft. The convenience and location of this loft can not be beat. Tops for Shoes is located across the street from the entry to the building. The loft is less than one minute (by foot) to the town square (Asheville Art Museum, Pack Square, Biltmore Avenue and Broadway, BB&T Bank, Rhubarb and Rhu, as well as other restaurants (and The French Broad Chocolate Factory) well as many other hot spots in Asheville.

Perfect location, comfortable loft!

We were at this property over Memorial Day weekend, and it was perfect for us! The location cannot be beat - walking distance to all the great restaurants - and parking was a breeze. It was spotless, had all the comforts we needed, and both Eli and Sarah were very easy to work with. I highly recommend it!!

Exceeded All Expectations

The condo exceeding all of our expectations. It was spotless, beautiful, roomy and had all (or more) of the amenities of home. When we were driving home, we all agreed that our favorite thing about our trip to Asheville was where we stayed. When we left, we wished that we had stayed much longer!

The location was superb and most convenient. At the same time, we couldn't believe how quiet it was. The beds were luxuriously comfortable. It's a great value for the money. We would recommend with no hesitation! It was almost better than being at home.

We ate breakfast every morning at the Green Sage restaurant, a mere 1.5 blocks away which was scrumptious. If we had stayed longer, we would have cooked at the condo though as the kitchen was better equipped than most homes and it was beautiful. Don't miss out on the French Broad Chocolate Cafe which is less than a block away.

To sum up, we won't stay anywhere else when we return to Asheville!

Perfect location and property

Three friends enjoyed Asheville from a very convenient location. The Loft is within walking distance of so many great galleries, breweries, shops and restaurants. If you don’t want to walk, the Rankin parking garage is in your backdoor with easy and affordable parking. The Loft itself is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown Asheville. The apartment has all the amenities you could need and then some. The beds and baths are comfortable and clean and well stocked with linens. Eli and Sarah are a joy to work with and always accessible if needed. Thanks also for the lists of recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Gem in the Heart of Downtown Asheville

My husband, friends and I loved this loft. It is very comfortable, thoughfully decorated and well care for. The big windows in the living area fill the space with light. Although we did not cook, the kitchen is well-equipped with anything you might need. Eli, the owner, is highly-responsive. Anytime we had a question, she immediately picked up the phone and was always helpful. This loft is truly a gem!

Wonderful Place, Great Location, Super Host

This was our third stay at 35 Patton in Asheville. The loft is immaculate and is in the perfect location for our annual trek to the Southern Conference Basketball Tournament. The loft is always super clean and very well equipped. Eli goes out of her way to make sure her guests are comfortable and have everything they need to make their stay great. A new TV system installed this year caused some problems, but Eli went the extra mile to make it a non-issue. Thank you Eli for your time, persistence and attention to detail. The Loft will always be our first choice when coming to Asheville.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations made prior to 31 days before arrival will be refunded minus a $125.00 administration fee or 8% of the reservation, whichever is higher. Refunds will be issued back to Guest by CHECK and do not include a refund of service or booking fees charged by listing sites.
Cancellations made less than 31 days before the Arrival date will forfeit 100% of the monies paid. If the property is re-rented for the full period of the cancelled reservation and confirmed with full payment, a refund to guest will be issued, less the administrative fee. If property is not re-rented for the full time period of the cancelled reservation monies paid will be prorated. There will be no refund for early departures or no-shows.
