This is a nice Chamberlands home with access to the beach at Chamberlands. The great room is an open plan, perfect for entertaining, and has soaring ceilings and huge windows to enjoy the forest view and is furnished beautifully with colors that reflect the clear blue waters of Lake Tahoe. This 3 bedroom 2 bath has 2,000 square feet. There is a wrap around deck. The large master bedroom has king bed, attached bath, spa and your own private deck. Also downstairs is a second bedroom with a queen bed and a third bedroom with two twin beds. This property has access to the Chamberlands Private Beach and is a very short walk to the beach.
Five night min stay - in summer. 7 night min for July 4th week

Nice big house with plenty of room and amenities. Can't beat the location, and access to private Chambers Landing beach. However, it's an older property ... the carpet, couches, and kitchen appliances should really be updated asap. The house could also be cleaner - there were cobwebs everywhere. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves, and I give it 3.5 stars out of 5.
We had a great early summer week here with our kids. Liked the open areas of this house, light and views - having the kids downstairs was nice with the large master upstairs. Carpets and all fresh and clean. Lots of deck space around the house. Kids loved the sandy beach at Chamberlands. Good location - we liked Tahoe City, Sunnyside, Emerald Bay and South Lake Tahoe (around half hour). We like to hike and we would recommend for short day hike the entrance by Meeks Bay going up to a few lakes in the national forest. Meeks Bay also great with kids. Recommend Tahoma market around the corner for groceries/coffee/sandwiches - Sunnyside for lunch/dinner overlooking the boats and water. Plan on coming back and thanks for a nice place!
My family has been coming to Chambers for years and we tried this cabin last summer. It worked out beautifully for us. The big deck was perfect for evening BBQ's and the kids love running back in through to the beach. You can't get much closer to the Chambers Beach!
The master suite was perfect - super quiet and loved sitting out on the private deck and reading.
We'll be back and would highly recommend this comfortable cabin.

The house has potential, however, many reasons I would not rent again. There is a very strong odor when entering the house, had to open up all windows and doors but the bad odor would come back when house was closed up. No screens on the large sliding glass doors in front of the house so when they were open we were chasing bees out of the house, and my niece got stung. Also no labels on the glass doors to show if they are open or shut, dangerous and I walked into one of the doors thinking it was open. One screen on the back bedroom was laying on the deck. Toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom was loose and practically falling off. NO SMOKE ALARM! The house could have been cleaner, deep cleaning needed. Not sure when the upstairs master bed had it's blankets washed, they needed it. Also there were no towels in the master bathroom and I found them downstairs in the dryer. And no Wi-Fi. Also they keys to the property had to be picked up at Wells and Bennett which was the opposite direction from the house. The traffic is extremely busy through Tahoe City and it took us a long time to get the keys and go back through Tahoe City and then to the house, very inconvenient. Sorry, I would not recommend this property.
It's a nice place but 3 criticisms: (1) only 2 of the four sliding glass doors had screens and many of the windows did not have screens. Not great during the summer. (2) limited kitchen utensils. (3) you have a varmit (squirrel?) living in the ceiling area (where the "A" frame meets) that we could hear moving around and making digging sounds at night. Insulation from that part of the ceiling floated down to the living room area.
