Guests enjoy free entry to Austin's iconic Volente Beach Waterpark May-Sept. $150 value ea/day Walk to marinas, our boutique waterpark & beach, the lake & Beachside Billy's Restaurant & Bar. After a full day on the lake, relax at your cabin by the firepit while taking in spectacular sunsets. This studio sleeps 6 w/2 plush queen beds + set of bunks. The cabin is equipped w/a kitchen, charcoal BBQ & firepit. Don't forget the s'mores! This is GLAMPING at it's finest.

Our boutique water park is seasonal May - Sept and fed by the clear waters of Lake Travis. Lake Travis is not a constant level lake, and during droughts, our beach may be further from the water's edge than normal. The operation of the water park is not affected by water levels.

Great fun for children of all ages
The cottages were as described. Any questions or concerns were immediately answered by the property manager/owner. Quiet and the kids had a blast! A getaway where we could all relax and enjoy. Recommend.

Perfect Escape
Spent two nights in Bungalow #1 and could not have asked for a better escape. Comfortable bed. Clean and most importantly, cool, as it was 100 plus degrees during our stay.

We had a nice time, but I don’t think we will be back.
The restaurant was poorly run. We received a different menu every time we sat down. The lifeguards did not have clear expectations of their duties making it confusing as to what the rules for slides etc were. The actual “bungalow” was clean, but misrepresented by the pictures online.

Hey y’all ...I'm Kara, a proud Texas native, with a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Houston. I’ve lived in Austin since 1997. Our family & The Lyne family purchased Volente Beach Resort in 2017, and we are all hands on owners. All of our kids worked here through high school & some of their college summers & they all grew up enjoying the water park themselves as young ones. We are as mom & pop as it gets.

Austin is a great town for the outdoor enthusiast, and I love hiking trails with my friends and dog. We get on the lake as often as possible & I enjoy remodeling, designing and making guests comfortable. I love the details of planning my personal family vacations, and I strive to offer my guests the same inviting, and comfortable accommodations that I look for when traveling.

We believe Volente Beach is truly a little gem in the heart of Texas & we hope you find yourself wanting to return each summer to enjoy Lake Travis & the beautiful hill country surrounding it

We have always been drawn to the Volente area and have dreamed about owning property on Lake Travis. We spent many summer days with our own kids at Volente Beach when they were younger.
