About this property

Great River Cottage #1

Our vacation cottage is located on a 1/2 acre corner lot (Lake Street and Highway 35) within walking distance to downtown, marina and restaurants. The cottage has two available units to rent. Rent one or both! Each Cottage has their own separate entrance. There is a small back porch that is between each cottage.

Cottage #1 has 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath and sleeps up to 9 people
Bedroom 1~ Queen bed, trundle bed
Bedroom 2~ 3 Twin beds (upstairs)
Bedroom 3~ 2 Twin Beds (upstairs)

Cottage #2 has 1 bedroom, 1 full bath and sleeps up to 4.
Queen bed and pull out couch.

Each cottage is has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, wireless internet, tv, dvd player.

We had a girls weekend, the house was perfect size for 6 women. Had everything we needed ! In walking distance to restaurants and bars in town. Would definitely come back again.

Heidi, thank you for hosting our family. We also appreciated the quick response times. The property was as advertised. And exceptionally clean. Clearly, a lot of thought has gone into making guest as comfortable as possible. As mentioned in previous reviews, stairs to upstairs bedrooms were challenging to navigate at night. Overall, would highly recommend. Thank you

Pepin Getaway
We were very pleasantly surprised when we entered the property (don't judge a book by its cover). Very clean. Beautifully decorated. All needs met as far as kitchen supplies, bath supplies, lots of comfy cozy blankets and the beds were all awesome! Our host Heidi was awesome and hopefully did not "judge" us as we struggled to figure out the smart TVs. We sisters were yearning for our old TV's with the 4 channels and an on/off button. She was very patient with us! It was a special treat for us as a couple of us used to babysit her husband when he was little and that her mother-in-law was our piano teacher and our mother's good friend. It was pretty quiet in Pepin and the surrounding area this time of year but it was still very charming and a great getaway! Thank you, Heidi!

Quick girls weekend
We had a wonderful time staying at Great River Cottage #1. Room accomodations were perfect for our group of 5 ladies. Lots of amenities for just staying in on the first cold days of the season in October. Plenty of blankets and the large couch and chairs in the living area were perfect for our no kids weekend get-a-way.
