Its across the street from the beautiful Millrise park and daycare and a well maintained neighborhood. 30 minute drive from the Calgary international airport.. The house is about 1600 sq/ft 1 level bungalow living space, and a great vacation home for both family and business. There are 3 large bedrooms, and laundry room for your convenience, plus a massive living area open concept to the kitchen area with a cozy fireplace. The master bedroom has a separate soaking tub (INDOOR TUB) and a brand new Victorian style marble walk in shower, and a king size bed. The second bedroom has a single size bed with a wall book shelf for a quite reading time,
The third bedroom has 1 single beds, ... the living room has a lot of natural light and is open to a new modern kitchen including a stove, microwave, oven and dining area with a cherry wood table. The house has a nice backyard off the family room,. All amenities including train, bus, shopping, schools, fish creek park which are walking distance or a few minute drive. .....(note) >>>: Basement is not included (occupied by tenants)

Disappointed and departed
We arrived at this house and upon entry noticed a musty smell. We then found the refrigerator/freezer unplugged and moved to the middle of the kitchen with the doors open and the ice maker partially assembled. We called Adele and she explained why this occurred. We put the refrigerator/freezer together and opened many of the windows to air out the musty smell. We then departed to get dinner. We also NOTED there is a tenant in the basement of the house that is not stated in the ad. He has a patio that is beside the windows on the kitchen side of the house. His access to the basement and the patio is on that side of the house. We returned. The tenant in the basement, or someone had been smoking outside and the smoke was in the house. Therefore, we attempted to close the windows and found that some did not close. We had noted that a number of windows were not closed/latched when we opened them. We closed one of the windows in the master bedroom and it fell outwards. I went outside to push it in as my wife closed the mechanism from the inside. It closed somewhat but not latched. Another in one of the bedrooms would not close to the latched position. I went outside to try to assist, but it would not work. I texted Adele that the house was not suitable for habitation and we were departing to try and find a hotel. She asked me to meet her at the house. I did, and showed her the various problems with the house as I described. We departed and rented an overpriced last-minute hotel room.

Stay in Millrise
We really enjoyed our stay in Calgary. The location was perfect and the house was very spacious and comfortable. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating. We would be happy to stay there again

Great value, good location, and great homeowners
Great bang for the buck. You get what you pay for, and the place seems reasonably priced. We stayed here for almost 2 weeks and it served our needs well. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids 6 and under. We were able to carry on a normal life here while our house was being renovated. My only criticism is that the house is a little over furnished and the kitchen seems to have a lot of non-essential cooking items, yet is a bit sparse on normal kitchen items. Not a big deal at all. Would also have been nice to have the old mercedes (that isn't roadworthy ) removed from the driveway to make ample room for parking.
