IRB Rocks!!
Spotlessly clean two bedroom apartment. Access available to this 2nd floor accommodation via two separate stairways and the combination door lock made it very convenient.
Well supplied kitchen with cooking utensils, pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, glasses and wine glasses.
A BBQ/grill on the deck that actually worked was wonderful. Nice deck chairs with padded cushions in the deck box, two sliding doors to access the deck.
A good supply of bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels, 2 or 3 small beach towels available and some older beach chairs to carry down to the beach.
The property is situated one block off the main drag, we appreciated that, since it is a very busy two lane road during the daytime, but a 5 minute walk to the beach is easy.
We saw many people pulling wagons to haul their beach supplies, but we managed without one.
Dog friendly accommodation is what mostly attracted us. We found a fenced in dog park just a couple of blocks away. Met some lovely dog owners who offered us many tips for restaurants, other dog friendly places etc.
BringFido is an app that someone recommended.
We had issues with the TV and cable box. Bruce sent Joseph over, he did his thing and assured us it would all work out but we still had problems with the sound going off randomly. We had to learn a pattern of turning everything off and restarting the box first then the TV. GOOD LUCK!
I still give the rental a five star rating because TV wasn’t the reason we were there.
The amazing restaurants, the beach, the sunset! You’ll love it all!
Don’t miss the ice cream at Kooky Coconut on your way to the beach.
I even found an outdoor fitness group one day near the dog park and they welcomed me to join, the first class was free and the next ones were $15 each. How cool is that?
