This two-bedroom vacation rental is part of The Cove at Ocotal. The nearby city of Coco is about 2.5 miles away and features a supermarket, a few restaurants, and another stretch of beach. Spend your vacation days lounging on the sand, or rent diving equipment and explore the region's warm blue waters.

After a long day enjoying the sand and surf, return to your home away from home for an evening of relaxation. Cozy up on the comfortable couch in the living room while you browse the cable channels on TV. If you'd like to cook at home, you'll find everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen, including all of the standard appliances as well as extras such as a dishwasher, a blender, and a coffee maker. After your meal, retreat to the spacious balcony overlooking the pool and relax with a glass of wine or a cocktail.

Property was very nice and well equipped except there were no serving bowls or small pots in the kitchen. The second bedroom patio window was cracked right through and held with duct tape. Had been like that for some time based on the condition of the duct tape. Two lights burnt out - one right above kitchen sink and master bedroom. Wifi didn’t work, used another units wifi the whole time we were there. Don’t expect to get breakfast at the only restaurant close to the complex. Listing should have indicated quite clearly that a vehicle was almost a necessity if you wanted to do anything other than visit the beach closest to the complex. Also the listing should indicate that a cellphone is essential if you want to call for a cab.

This unit was not as good as other units at the Cove
We have stayed at the Cove in Ocotal before but in a different unit. We stayed in #8 this time and weren’t impressed. The kitchen was not stocked with necessities and we had no hot water for the entire 6 days of our stay. We do like the Cove complex in general as it is convenient to walking to a great beach and a nice beachfront restaurant.
