About this property

Gorgeous Sunsets at this 5 bedroom Lakeside Retreat - Pearl Beach Lakehouse

Pearl Beach Lakehouse is a beautiful, restored, historic, five-bedroom, two full bath home with a beautiful view of the lake! Come any time of year and see breathtaking sunsets, or enjoy s'mores around the campfire enjoying the lake breeze.

This home is fully equipped (including linens) and ready for your relaxation. This home is perfect for families or groups of friends. The downstairs includes a large gathering room with views of the lake and a front porch sitting area and a large eat in kitchen. The first floor is completed by a large master bedroom and a full bath.

Upstairs is a quiet retreat with three beautiful bedrooms facing the lake. The upstairs is completed with an additional bedroom and a full bath. There is something wonderful about falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the water.

Many people come and seldom leave the lake. You can spend the day on the bank overlooking the lake or follow our walkway down to the water where you can relax closer to the lake with water access. This home is perfect for quiet relaxation, reading, and doing nothing at all!

However, Ashtabula County is a haven for travelers looking for an affordable family vacation site. While relaxing at our home you must discover the harbor district of Ashtabula with quaint shops, Maritime and Underground Railroad Museums, and views of the Ashtabula Harbor Light. Also nearby Geneva-on-the-Lake, features summer-time fun at this historic resort district, featuring amusement park rides, miniature golf, go-karts, waterslides,a nostalgic diner, and more. Inland discover the 16 covered bridges, both historic and new. Ashtabula County also produces over 65 percent of Ohio's grapes and has developed a hard-earned reputation for developing some outstanding domestic wines; sample them at our 24 wineries. And Cleveland is just an hour drive to enjoy museums, baseball, and more great sights.

Two properties are currently available! Pearl Beach Lakehouse, next door is Lakehurst Bungalow. We would be happy to talk with you about this very special place or one of our other properties!

Labor Day Weekend Get Away
The house was awesome. I love older homes and this one was great! Very well care for and clean. We toured the wineries and local pubs. 9 of us stayed in the home with way more than enough room. This is the second year in a row renting from this owner, they own the home next to it as well, which is where we stayed last year. Really great ppl, plan on returning next year again.

Perfect family place on Lake Erie
Great owner who made our stay memorable. The house was well kept with everything needed by two families or even more. It was clean, convenient to everything we needed plus on a private breach! I highly recommend it.

Excellent large family gathering
We stayed at both their properties with connecting backyards. It was perfect for our large family: 12 adults and 12 kids (15-6 months). Lots of space and excellent seating for everyone. Tons of amenities (games for indoor and outdoors)! Obviously owners have no control, but waves are pretty strong so just make sure to bring life jackets. Kids loved jumping the waves and wave surfing. It felt like an ocean but with fresh water.

About the host

This home is owned by two familes who have been best friends since the late 1980's. The Pearson Family (Jim & Judy) and the Trice Family (Rick & Debbie) have been renting vacation homes for the past 15 years and are excited to share this home with you, your family and friends. Both families have lived in the area our whole lives and have raised our children along the shores of Lake Erie. Both families enjoy boating, antiques and wine. We have recently taken our love of wine to the next level and are the proud owners of The Winery at Spring Hill in Geneva, Ohio. Come join us for a fun and relaxing vacation!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property back in 2006 due to its location and wonderful beach access. Not many peices of property like this one between Sandusky and Conneaut, Ohio!

What makes this property unique

This property was designed and decorated as if our family was going to live all summer here! No attention to detail was missed yet the home has a warm and comfortable feel. Just like home, plus much more...
