About this property

Overlooking Lake Monroe stands Soaring Eagle Log Cabin.

Soaring Eagle Cabin is located on Lake Monroe's backwater and is surrounded by nature. This low-maintenance house has two bathrooms, a large kitchen, a 4-person hot tub, and a game room with a double Murphy bed.

There is a pleasant ambiance in the living room. Play a game of pool on the lower level or stream music using the fast-running wireless internet. From the large sunroom, you can see the water of Lake Monroe lapping against the shore.

Soaring Eagle Cabin sits in a private location, yet you'll find it's close to Brown County State Park (8 miles), Nashville (17 miles), Bloomington (17 miles), and Columbus (30 miles).

PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee.

All gas fireplaces are seasonal and available for use from October 1st - April 1st.

Lake House cabin is next door if you have a large party and need more room.

**Soaring Eagle sits near the lake and has a reasonably steep drive. It is helpful if you have a front-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle. Ensure you drive slowly and maintain a steady speed when descending the hilled. A designated parking spot is at the top of the hill (if needed).

Wonderful Stay
We greatly enjoyed staying in this cabin. Springtime was a wonderful time to see all of the wildflowers and birds. The cabin exceeded all of our expectations. If you are looking for a remote spot in the woods to relax and enjoy nature; then this is it.

Anniversary Trip to Brown County
We were looking for a quiet, secluded place to stay that was pet friendly and included a hot tub. This spot checked off every box. We had a lovely time. It was clean and inviting, fully stocked with essential items and a fully stocked kitchen. There’s a Murphy bed and a pool table with a separate bathroom which is nice for additional privacy. The bed mattress is very lumpy and worn in but it gives that cabin feel you’re kind of looking for I think. Things I’d note to future guests: - Bring boots with good grip! It’s a steep drop down to the lake and if you have pets that need to go out it can be tricky! - Check the hot tub as soon as you arrive. We had a bit of a snafu with ours, it wasn’t functioning properly. But they were receptive and offered an easy solution to help us still use the hot tub during our stay. - The pet fee is $75 per pet. We weren’t able to locate that information on the listing, so I thought it’d be helpful to list here. Also, when the fee was processed, it was taxed. Just FYI.
