Our quaint, waterfront, two bedroom, two bathroom cottage is located right on the Pungo River across from Belhaven, NC. From its namesake porch you can see dolphins, pelicans, boat traffic on the Intracoastal Waterway, and magnificent sunrises. Enjoy fishing, crabbing, swimming, sunning, kayaking and boating from the convenient backyard pier. You are only minutes to downtown Belhaven, historic Bath and "Little" Washington by car or by boat where you can dine, shop and sightsee. Come have a sit on "The Porch" and experience all the Inner Banks has to offer. 15% Discount for rentals of 7 days or more! This house does not allow pets on the property.

Quaint quiet getaway
My sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed the porch on the pongo!!! The decor was adorable and we absolutely loved spending time on the porch. Paul and Lorraine thought of every need and all the special touches.

Paul & Lorraine Belanger own Dragonfly Properties LLC and Porch on the Pungo. We purchased our retirement home in nearby Belhaven in 2012 and live there full-time. We have come to love Belhaven and living on the water in eastern North Carolina. We have three children who spend as much time here as possible.

Why they chose this property

Porch on the Pungo is the first house we have purchased to use and rent. It was love at first sight. We looked at many properties but found the condition of the house along with the waterfront views to be unmatched. It was a house that we would want to stay at for a long weekend or a week-long get-away-from-it-all break.

What makes this property unique

Porch on the Pungo offers breathtaking waterfront views, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, easy access to all types of waterfront activities and is near Belhaven, Bath and Washington. All three towns are a short drive or boat ride away and offer great local shopping and dining. This house offers comfort, seclusion and quiet with the convenience of many nearby amenities.
