Winston-Salem visit
My wife and I had a great time at Sherman's property. Everything was exactly as described and we had no issues with anything. My wife said she wants to stay here again the next time we come.

Clean place close to WF Univ. Easily accessible from gated driveway. Comfortable bed in spacious bedroom. Great for the price. Average safe neighborhood. Only down sides- odd smell when you first walk in-not bothersome after a couple minutes, and small bathroom. Perfect for my 3 day stay.

Wonderful
Perfectly located! Close to Wake and shopping. Clean and comfortable property on a quiet cul de sac. Check in was super easy and convenient. Would definitely book again!

Nice and quiet and cozy
This is at least my 5th time staying at one of the 3 apartments. It works well for me being a single traveler. I feel I’m safe, it’s clean and comfortable and close to WFU to visit my daughter. I’ve really enjoyed staying here.

I was born in Winston-Salem, a tried and true hometown boy. I went to high school about a mile from here at Reynolds High School. The first time I saw the beautiful homes in the Buena Vista neighborhood, I knew that Buena Vista is where I wanted to live and raise a family. I worked hard in my early years to establish myself. I traveled a lot early on due to my job but was able to become fully self-employed about 15 years ago. I think it made me appreciate this home even more.

Why they chose this property

Over the years, I have added many features to the house on the inside and outside. I have added a concrete driveway and gate to the back entrance as well as a small fish pool with several goldfish that are entertaining to observe. I converted part of the lower floor to an apartment and rented it for many years but stopped due to the birth of my youngest son. He is older now and I have decided to offer it again.

I have really enjoyed selecting pieces for this apartment and upgrading its amenities. I have the same granite kitchen counter top in the main kitchen. There is a large picture of James Dean when you open the door and a new furniture in the bedroom.

What makes this property unique

A beautiful home on a quiet, dead end street off a main artery into downtown if you go left and and Wake Forest University if you go right. It is a little over one mile to the Five Points intersection at Stratford Rd., which is near the Interstate 40 ramp (business). For location, it is simply the best.
