About this property

Spacious, gorgeous home in the heart of Sellwood

Welcome to our beautiful home located in historic Sellwood. Our property is surrounded by restaurants, shopping, antique stores, and great parks. You can walk across the street to a restaurant and get a hamburger voted #4 best burger in the nation, or walk around the corner to a restaurant featured in Food and Wine magazine, or walk down the block to one of Portland's coolest bars. We are centrally located in Portland, approximately a mile from Reed college, 3.5 miles from downtown, 2 miles to Division, and 2.5 miles to Hawthorne. The airport is about 25 minutes by car, or you can take the Max train located just down the road. Bus service is one block away.

Our 1920s home has been remodeled to represent the period it was built. The living space is warm and inviting. There are two bedrooms on the main floor with comfortable queen mattresses with a bathroom in between the bedrooms. Master suite and bath are on the upper level. Available for your use are a living room, dining room, and kitchen on the main floor; laundry, and TV room in the finished basement space. Our back yard is a private oasis in the middle of the city. We have outdoor seating and a hammock to enjoy in the summer months.

People that have stayed in our home have enjoyed the beauty of our home, comfortable beds, and the location.

Siblings get together
This was an enjoyable stay. The property was comfortable, clean, well appointed both quality and cleanliness of appliances, cookware, bed linens and towels. The neighborhood was walkable with restaurants and coffee shops. Sellwood neighborhood shops were a 15 minute walk. We were a group of siblings visiting our sister who lived close by. Despite the rain we were able to visit and enjoy the neighborhood shops.

Well-appointed Home
Lovely property close to all the delightful neighborhood has to offer! Beds and bedding were heavenly along with the thick towels. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything from soup to nuts (almost literally!) Delightful front yard with an amazing back porch for gathering even if it is rainy! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

We prefer to stay in homes when we travel and enjoy interacting with owners in order to get the inside scoop!

Why they chose this property

We bought this house when we combined families. We both lived in the area and fell in love with it immediately. Our home is lovely, we are quite proud of it. Our guests thus far have been very pleased with the accommodation.

What makes this property unique

Most people enjoy the privacy of the bedrooms and the lovely backyard. We are in a prime location, you could spend an entire weekend in Sellwood and be pretty content.
