About Jill Westbrook
Tom & I (Jill) have lived in Stillwater, OKlahoma since 1995. Tom teaches in the School of Entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State. I am a watercolor and pencil artist with a studio in our home at Starwod Glen, our little10 acres in the woods, which is right next door to Cabin Glen. We raised 2 wonderful sons and have 3 perfect grandchildren. ;-D The grandkids love to spend time in the cabin laying out Thomas the Tank Engine tracks on the big open floors of the Greatroom while I am cleaning and getting ready for guests. Starwood Glen is also the home to 2 horses, the best dog in the world. and one crabby cat. In July of 2017, we had the opportunity to purchase the cabin and 5 acres next door. And so we named it Cabin Glen. It was so cute, we decided to rent it as a Bed & Bath instead of a long term rental. Come stay and see why!

Why Jill Westbrook chose Stillwater
In 1984, our friend, Sue built this unique cabin designed by her brother who was a wonderful architect. She and husbandTony finished raising Sue's two boys here. They both loved this cabin and held onto it even after they moved into town due to Tony's declining health. Sue knew she needed to sell, but wanted it to go to someone who would love it as they do. Every year for the past 10 years, she would ask if we were ready to buy it and every year, we would say, "We just can't this year, Sue. Go ahead and do what you need to do." But she never could quite let it go. Finally, when she asked this year, we said, "YES! Let's do this!"

Cabin in the trees
Our host Jill was incredibly helpful and kind. She stayed in communication with me and was quick to respond to my texts. She is very gracious and her home was perfect for our group. My son got married near the home and the location was so convenient. The property is beautiful and we saw deer and wild turkey as well as horses on the next property. We would definitely recommend this home to others and will go back the next time we have a group going to the area.
Everything was easy and accurate with this property. I will be a returning guest!
Thank you for the kind words, Alexis!
You all were great and we hope you WILL be a returning guest!
Our home away from home!
Jill and Toms cabin will exceed your expectations. It is roomy, clean, relaxing, and fun. Enjoy morning coffee in the sunroom while enjoying the pond view and all the critters. (14 turkey, four deer, frogs, and pond turtles were our visitors this trip.). This cabin has everything you'd need for a fun get away. Close enough to town but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.
We'll be back for sure.
A wonderful, peaceful place to stay!
The bedrooms were lovely - spacious and comfortable. Living room, TV area, a table that seated 12+, and a lovely enclosed porch meant lots of areas for casual conversation inside. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, plus a few specialty appliances. Plenty of linens/towels were provided, too. The coffee bar was well-stocked, and there were even a few basic grocery items for our use. The laundry was a big bonus, we were out and about every day and being able to clean our sweaty clothes was a huge plus.
We used the outside patio a lot. There were supplies to have an outdoor firepit or BBQ, if we wanted. Parking was great, plenty of room for multiple cars, which we needed, because our family who lives here came to visit daily.
Our hosts, Jill and Tom, came over to greet us and were very gracious about meeting our needs. We had just lost our dog, and they brought Miska, their beautiful dog, several times at our request, so we could get some doggy loving.
A doe and two fawns cavorted across the pond at the back of the property every day, and a turtle dug a hole and laid some eggs in the yard. The naturalists in the family were delighted. :)
The cabin is close to town, we visited the Botanical Gardens, and spent a couple days shopping at several stores while here.
We had a lovely experience and if there's ever a need for a big family reunion in Stillwater in the future, we will certainly be renting Cabin Glen again.
