Quaint dog friendly spot with quick access to city!
Myself, partner, and Great Dane enjoyed our week long stay at the casita in early January! They allowed us to check in a little early and we used a lock box to check in, easy! The place has a flat long drive way that we could almost fit our 38ft Class A motor home in! We RV full time and needed to put the rig in the shop for a week. The house was well equipped so we could work (great wifi), cook, do laundry, and relax. The property managers were very easy to get a hold of and answered within minutes. They even came and fixed the tv remote for us! We felt comfortable and relaxed! Keep in mind that this casita shares the property with a home. While we stayed, there was no one in the larger home which was nice so the owners let us use the bigger yard for our dog. The Casitas yard is very small but pretty private. So just something to know that you could share the driveway with other guest and the casita and main home are pretty close. All in all we were thankful to find a clean, safe space to stay for a week with our huge Great Dane! Thank you!!

Long stay
This is a guest house with a small enclosed yard, however there is not a door from the house to the yard, you must go through the main house backyard to get to the guest house yard. The place is okay for a short stay, but there was not another option available at the time, so we stayed a month. The price was high, 4k for a month, and it is a one room place with small separate bathroom. Bed is a Murphy bed, small and low to the ground, uncomfortable. Bathroom is small, shower head is low, made for a short stature person. Furniture was cheap and not comfortable. There is a large mesquite tree in the driveway that will cover you car with its little leaves. Yard is full of gravel and cactus with an aggressive dog next door that barks and growls everytime you walk outside. Nice park close by, but have to watch out for the homeless camp across the street from park. Tile floors were nice. Hosts were responsive. I think it would be fine for a short stay, but it is expensive.

Pick this one!
Super host doesn’t begin to express Taylor and Yuko. The Casita was charming and met all our needs, as well as our dogs. I can’t begin to thank Taylor for being right there when the internet had a glitch. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Betz & Michael

Cooking, gardening and reading are just a few of my favorite things to do in my spare time. I love to travel and am very friendly and personable and enjoy meeting new people from all over the United States and beyond. With that said, hosting is something I enjoy very much :)

Why they chose this property

We absolutely LOVE the neighborhood. You can't get any more centrally located to EVERYTHING to do in Tucson ! Close to U OF A, hiking golf, great restaurants, parks, botanical gardens, malls, downtown entertainment etc, while located in a well established quiet neighborhood that was built out in 1940's.
