Perfect Weekend Getaway!
Three of us took a girls trip for the weekend to have a Friendsgiving and this quaint and charming cabin was the perfect retreat! Candice is a lovely hostess and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing less than perfect. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with amenities you may need during your stay. It has a lovely wood burning fire place that we used each night and plenty of fire wood is provided. The guest house is less than 10 minutes from Middleburg which made for a wonderful day of strolling through the stores, having lunch and ending the day with drinks at Salamander resort. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to take a break from the hustle of it all and look forward to coming back ourselves!

Adorable location for a family getaway!
We were looking for a quaint location for a quick getaway, local to the vineyards, breweries and Harpers Ferry Adventure park. We had an amazing stay- the house is lovely, quietly tucked away and Candice was an incredible host. We will be coming back soon!

About the host

I have been a Virginia resident since 1993 and a Loudoun County homeowner since 1996. I was born and raised in Portland, Maine and have lived in the Boston, Massachusetts, prior to my move to Virginia.
Chamblin Mill is the second historical home I have owned and love the history of the property and the surrounding area.
There are over 30 wineries within the area as well as historical towns and the Salamander Resort and Spa is only 10 minutes away.
So much to do and see in Loudoun County. I hope you will enjoy the beauty and privacy of this special home,

Why they chose this property

The property offers a private setting with creek frontage and lovely views. Rural setting, yet so close to several towns, shopping, restaurants, wineries and more. Ample parking for several cars and RV, Chamblin Mill has all the amenities to make this an ideal vacation spot for fun and relaxation. Come visit this 1792 historical landmark in Loudoun County. You will love stepping back in time.

What makes this property unique

The unique benefits of the home are:
Parking for more than 3 cars.
1000' of river frontage on Beaver Dam Creek.
1792 Miller house. The grist mill was burned down during the civil war. It is rumored John
Mosby the Gray Ghost hid out in the house during his many raids during the war.
Lots of wildlife, including wild turkey, a resident blue heron, deer, racoons, beaver and more!
A great location for visiting Loudoun's many historical towns, wineries and local shops.
