Excellent property located 1 mile from downtown La Fortuna, the house is a great option for families traveling together, friends and couples. There is 5 bedrooms with A/C, also a central unit located in the living room and kitchen area will keep you fresh and cool after the daily adventures and 3.5 bathrooms. Besides the swimming pool area surrounded by beautiful gardens with tropical flowers, great view of the Arenal Volcano from the house.

A large house located just 2 minutes away from town (Driving), located in a very secluded, private and secure neighborhood; where you can relax and enjoy the comfort that all areas of the house give you. There are 5 rooms so is an excellent option for family meetings or friends meeting, even we can a plan an event in the open areas. You will have everything you want taking this property for you next Costa Rica vacation.

Excellent property to enjoy the rain forest, relax and be a bit away but close enough to explore La Fortuna and Arenal volcano area.

The owners live a few meters away, they will offer traditional Costa Rican food for a good price, once you book they we will send you the Menu options; if you want to try an excellent and original cuisine go for it, just let us know and we can plan any meals for you.

Also we work with Nativo Chef, Sergio and his staff will come to the house offering excellent international menu with great service, once you book we will send you their contact information.

Tours were fantastic. Eden chocolate was entertaining Mystico tour and water tour were very informative and everyone left with new knowledge. House was clean. Pool time was great. House was close to actual town so very easy to walk around

Fantastic stay in La Fortuna
We had a wonderful week staying at the Arenal Family Home! The property managers were very responsive and helpful in booking any of our daily adventures. The home was clean and comfortable and very close walking distance to downtown La Fortuna. The owner, Guiselle was very kind and helpful as well. She hosted our family for a traditional Costa Rian dinner and cooking class which was so much fun and delicious ! We loved our time in La Fortuna and would recommend this home as a great place to stay.

Relaxing, peaceful ending to 2 weeks of Travel through Costa Rica
The house was spotless, the grounds were lush and landscaping was so beautiful! Nice pool area to cool off in and spectacular views of the Arena Volcano from the upper decks! The company that manages the Arenal Family Home was helpful, informative and took care of all our tours, shuttles and restaurant reservations! We went to Baldi Hot Springs...$48 included the many pools and a great buffet dinner!!! You can walk to the grocery store or town in 10-15 minutes. There are restaurants in walking distance (Tiquicia was excellent and reasonably priced) The owners live behind the house and have a dining room for guests if you want to stay home for any meal. We ordered the breakfast on our last day and it was one of our favourite meals! Giselle made the best beans and rice and cooked pancakes over a wood stove! Our group of 8 enjoyed it!!! So delicious. I would highly recommend this house for cleanliness, comfort, good wifi, location and potential for so many tours in the area. Perfect ending to our trip! Love La Fortuna!

Our names are Eder Cruz & Allen Murillo, two good friends that have more than 15 years of experience working in tourism in La Fortuna, we grew up La Fortuna and decided to work together creating Home Vacations La Fortuna on May 2015, our main goal: Make things easier and simple for our guest.
On 2018 we create The House of Tours to provide our guests the best experiences during their stay in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, we have the best tours and transportation services/rates in the area.

We manage/own about 40 properties in La Fortuna, we have a wide variety of options: private bedrooms, apartments, cabins, homes and villas up to 16 people some of them with private pool, hot tubs, nice opens areas, creeks nearby and more facilities.
