About this property

Ranch style house on main road between Cranberry & Tupper Lakes

If you are kayaking, biking, hunting, hiking, or snowmobiling and need a place to crash with your family or friends you should check out our place! This base camp is easy to get to, right on Route 3 with lots of parking for your cars and toys. 15 minutes in either direction to get to Cranberry or Tupper Lakes. Our 3-bedroom house is clean and ready for you to enjoy the Adirondacks. 1 bedroom has twin-size bunk beds and a full-size bed as well. There is a queen size in the middle room, and a double bed and a twin in the last room. There are sofas and a futon in the living room if you need as well.

There is a full kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook up a storm, and a bar/restaurant 1/8 of a mile up the road if you would rather not. There is also a grill outside for you to use.

We have a big TV, wifi, & movies for you to enjoy if it gets rainy. There is a stereo to plug your music player into. Washer and dryer are available to use as well. There are box and ceiling fans, and the windows open for a breeze. We also have a window ac unit installed for when it gets really hot out.

In winter, the snowmobile trail comes to the restaurant behind our property, so you can ride from camp.

Guests will check in on their own but I will provide detailed arrival and exit instructions and have an assistant available to assist. 2-night minimum stay.

Please note that this house now has Wifi! There is also good cell service in the area.

Please take your trash with you as there is no pickup at our location.

$75 cleaning fee is added to each stay.

Octoberfest
A little closer to Tupper Lake would have been nice but we were very happy with the house.

It worked
Old house with some updates, 1 bathroom. Did not like having to take our trash with us to find a place to dispose it.

About the host

Host profile image
Owned by a group of snowmobilers from the Buffalo area.

Why they chose this property

My dad bought the place a few years ago to fish the Adirondacks and also to use as a snowmobile camp. He went to ranger school up here and loved the place like no other. He is no longer with us but the cousins and I have taken over and are renting it out a few times a season to help us with the costs of the loan and maintenance.

What makes this property unique

A nice sized yard that can fit a lot of vehicles. Really close to snowmobile trail head at the Thirsty Moose. A couple of folks can stay here together, room to cook and hang out after a long days ride or a day on the lake.
