About Vacasa of Inland Empire

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Run down and very poor customer service

 • 2 of 5

Prior to our arrival, I sent an email to find out where to go to get the key to the property. the address that I was given was the property management office, which was closed. We decided to go to the property, where we thankfully did locate the key. We arrived at the house in the evening and went inside to find that the beds had been slept in and not changed, the kitchen had been used and not cleaned (there was literally dished with food on the stove and in the sink), and the bathroom was not cleaned (all of the towels were wet and on the floor. One of the towels was so dirty, it may have been used for toilet paper, since there wasn't any.) At that point we contacted the property management team. They did have a service come out very quickly to clean the house.

The house had an ant problem, mostly contained to one room. The driveway was so bad that it actually tore a chunk out of my bumper. The entire bumper will have to be replaced to fix it. We had very little to no cell service, so I was not able to get in touch with the property management team while we were there.

My husband contacted Julie at the property management office when we returned home. He told her about our experience and requested a refund for one night or at least the $60.00 for our parking fees. Julie actually told him that she had more important problems to deal with and she would talk with her manager and call him back. She has not called back yet.

At this point, I think the service was much worse than the house. I don't think that I would use this service again, nor would I refer anyone.

Retro Cutie Cabin!

 • 5 of 5

Sweet little cabin, with a mostly intact sixties (?) feel. Adorable, cheery orange laminate countertops were the reason we booked it, and they did not disappoint. Cute vintage light fixture in the bathroom, too. The area was exceptionally quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful view of a hilltop meadow on one side (with the lake beyond), and gorgeous trees across the street. The cabin came with everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Plenty of towels thoughtfully placed on each bed, comfy beds, a well-appointed kitchen, and a good-sized dining table. The living room lacks an actual coffee table, although it does have two large end tables with coasters. We just brought over the short bench from the end of the dining table, and voila, instant coffee table. Lots of windows with easy to use adjustable inside shutter/blinds. Small, cozy bedrooms downstairs (deer just outside every morning!), and a spacious loft upstairs with two sides, almost like two rooms, that would be perfect for kids to enjoy. There is a washer and dryer downstairs in the buildup under the house. The cabin was clean and ready for us, and the area is lovely and peaceful. It is a perfect getaway spot if you enjoy quirky vintage elements, privacy, quiet, and are not pretentious or stuck-up. All in all, a sweet, homey little house! Would definitely stay again. We already miss the happy orange counters.

Good property overall but some of the advertised amenities were not available

 • 3 of 5

On arrival at the property we found that it had not been serviced, there was a pile of rubbish outside and the bedding was all used. we contacted VACASA, which was difficult as there was no phone signal in the area. We had travel 15 mins up the road to get a phone signal and therefore wasted a few hours organising for the property to be serviced. in fairness to Vacasa and their on site team this was completed later that evening and the cleaning team made every effort to complete this quickly.

there was also no dishwasher at the property as advertised and the internet did not work. we could connect to the wifi but there was no internet, the trouble shooting guide suggested contacting the internet provider which was clearly not feasible.

We were also expecting a call from the area manager to agree compensation for the disruption but we are still waiting for this.

it was a shame that the problems above which were all avoidable detracted from what is a nice property in a good location

Nice house in woods

 • 5 of 5

We loved our stay here !!
Only drawback was the address of the house is not clearly marked so it was hard to find when we reached in the night.
There was no AC on the 2nd floor. But fans did nice job of keeping the area cool.
