Family vacation
We stayed at Sunset Bay in July 2023 with my parents and my two children (6 people total). We were in Ocean City for a dance competition at the Roland E. Powell convention centre and for a bit of a vacation as well. The location of Sunset Bay was perfect - a quick 2-5 minute drive to the convention centre, or a nice 20 minute walk. We were within a 2 minute walk to the beach across the street and very close to a number of great restaurants, activities, and stores. We rarely had to drive anywhere.
The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our entire family. It has a lovely wrap-around balcony with a view of the pool (which was handy to see if it was busy or not). The condo is right on the end of the building, which meant there was almost no foot-traffic in front of the unit.
Parking was very convenient, the overall facility was clean and the pool was fantastic. Beds and pillows were comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms were clean, and laundry in the room was very handy.
If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs because the seagulls are VERY noisy - especially between 4 and 7 am. The front bedroom has blinds, but the flood lights from the condo do shine through which makes it very bright in the room.
