About this property

Old Town Louisville! Dogs welcome with approval!

Come stay in Louisville Colorado, the "Best Small Town in America".

This renovated historic miners cabin is waiting for you. Whether you are here for work or play you'll find this bright, immaculate and recently renovated cabin a perfect place to call your home away from home.

You'll be steps away from Old Town Louisville's Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Boutiques, and the Summer Friday Night Street Fair and Seasonal Farmers Market. As the temperatures drop, you can enjoy outside dining in private heated igloos. You'll find miles of biking/walking trails accessible from the porch. Love to hike or climb? An easy 15 minutes to beautiful Chautauqua Park nestled under the Flatirons. The home is ideally situated, an easy 10 minutes to Boulder and 20 to Denver. If you prefer to leave the car behind, convenient bus service is available.

Stella's House can be your home away from home! It's time to come see those grand-babies you've been missing, or scratch that travel itch.

Sadly, due to my allergies, I cannot accept bookings with kitties.

Book now and enjoy Colorful Colorado!

Tough trip!
I had a really difficult trip- but staying at this place made it better! Barb was so kind and made sure I was taken care of- even when we got an unexpected snow storm she made sure I had a place to park and fresh towels to dry off my pups who mad the journey with me. The place was perfect for what we needed and walking distance to the dog park, coffee shops and cute restaurants made the trip for us!! Thanks again for a great stay!

Perfect Getaway
I needed a change of scenery after working from my dining room table at home for the last year and a half and this place provided the perfect getaway location. Everything was very conveniently located and the host, Barb, was very nice and helpful! Highly recommend if you're looking to change things up!

Awesome Home, Host & Location!
This home was immaculately clean and very comfortable for my wife and I. We stayed for a month and were very pleased! The host (Barb) is wonderful and extremely accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was awesome! Just a couple block walk to downtown Louisville with a ton of restaurants/shops/breweries and a few more blocks to a beautiful City Park. 5 stars on all counts with 6 stars for Barb. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking in the area!

I moved to Colorado over 20 years ago and fell in love with the mountains, fresh air and non-stop sunshine. I love nature, being outside and active, and spending time with family, friends and my pup. Skiing, Hiking and SCUBA are some of my favorite activities, but deep down I'm a travel junkie. My most favorite trip ever was trekking to the endangered mountain Gorillas in Uganda. The Galapagos is pretty amazing as well.

Why they chose this property

When I first saw this house I fell in love with it's history and location. I had the good fortune of meeting Stella, the previous owner of the home. She and her husband moved in to the original miners cabin in 1952 making this the family home of 65 years. Over the years they raised 4 children here and expanded the original cabin.

Stella's love and positive energy still permeates every inch of the house. I think you'll feel it too.

What makes this property unique

Location, Location, Location! I love that it's just steps to all that Old Town has to offer, dinner, drinks, coffee shops, parks, live music and the farmers market. Miles and miles of trails are right off the front porch. Easy access to Boulder, Denver and the Rocky Mountains.

As your hostess I'd be thrilled to share some of my favorite spots with you.
