About this property

Ocean view from every room in the condo! A few nights open in April - May 2024!

Enjoy our condo in lovely Poipu with vast ocean views from the lanai and Master Bedroom. You will hear the ocean, see the ocean (and the whales in season) and be mesmerized by the ocean and the sea life. Sunset Kahili is the highest condo in the area. Our resort is on the ocean side of Pee Road, the views from every room are non-stop ocean and both ocean and mountain views from the kitchen. Clean tile floors are throughout the entire home with attractive wainscoting and furnishings. Luckily, the complex has an elevator, a nice maintained pool also with an ocean view), bbq area (also with an ocean view!) and you have your own assigned parking space.

Enjoying the sights and sounds from the lanai are blue water dreams come true. This condo is on the west side of the building which gives you access to ocean sunsets. Free wireless internet (works great by the way) is at your disposal. The location on a hill combined with the fifth floor setting not only gives you wonderful views but also allows the cooling trade winds easy access. Central to all of Poipu, this condo will be your leisure home for your entire stay.

This property is super cute. Nicely decorated and a lovely view. The front door was missing a privacy blind so we had to hang a towel over it so no one could see in. The only negative is that this unit is in a very old building and the common areas are somewhat dingy looking compared to the standard of the unit

Awesome view over the sea and sunset. Better to have a car because there is no close supermarket. Vue extraordinaire sur la mer et les magnifiques coucher de soleil. Il est préférable d'avoir une auto parce qu'il n'y a pas de supermarché proche (Big Save à ≈5 km et il est très ordinaire).

Wow! Describes the View
Amazing condo, everything you can think of has been taken care of here, clean and comfortable on the inside, and the view from the lanai is spectacular. On a few mornings we shared our coffee on the lanai with spinner dolphins right out in front of us, so close , honestly 100 yards out, and dozens of them! so incredible, wasn’t expecting that. Poipu beach is a 5 min walk, saw monk seals there daily. This was our first time to Kauai and this was truly a perfect place to start from. Thank you Denise for an amazing stay in Paradise!

Beautiful view
The view is amazing and we loved hearing the waves crash the rocks while we slept. You can see up the coast while sitting on the balcony and for us the location was great since we were in Kauai for a wedding so we were near many other guests within walking distance.

Poipu Home Base for Kauai Vacation
This was a great home base for our adventures in Kauai. It was centrally located for day trips to Waimea Canyon and the Napali Coast. We often walked to Poipu Beach where we snorkeled and saw the sea turtles come to the beach in the evening. We enjoyed the sunset views from the lanai and the sound of the surf at night. The condo was pleasantly furnished and served our needs very well. We are very happy that we chose this property for our vacation.

Hello! We are Gary and Denise Lopez from Bend, OR. We have two grown daughters who are working in their careers as school counselor and physical therapy. Gary is a retired fire fighter and Denise is a retired educator. We enjoy sharing our condo with others and are available to help you plan a vacation of a lifetime in Kauai.

Why they chose this property

We have been going to Kauai since early in our marriage in 1990. We enjoy many parts of the island but Poipu has been our favorite place to visit in Hawaii for the past few years. We love the relaxed and safe feeling when we are there. The people are very friendly whether they are local folks or visiting tourists. We fell in love with our condo on our last visit in Spring of 2017. We hope you will enjoy our home by the sea as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

We really enjoy just walking along the coast and seeing the sea life or scoping out whales and turtles from the lanai with binoculars. We have hiked, biked and snorkeled several places on the island. We have also enjoyed kayaking too. Whatever activity you enjoy or would like to try, I'm sure you can find it on Kauai. But relaxing by the pool or on the beach also makes for pleasant days.
