About this property

Beautiful Country Cottage In The Middle Of Wine Country

We have a gorgeous guest house with stunning sunset views, walking trails, wildlife habitat, large koi pond that is on top of a hill in the middle of wine country in the Willamette Valley. The house is very open with a private deck and has fantastic views from all sides. The house is in excellent condition and has a large Koi pond right out in front. It has all necessary appliances and a heat pump for heating and cooling. The house was built as a mother-in-law residence and will be vacated in early August.

The owners live next door but are completely separated and out of view. The property is in a wildlife habitat zone with plenty of wildlife to view. We have created walking trails throughout our 30 acres that sport ponds and wildlife corridors. Both houses are gated and enjoy privacy from surrounding properties. We are located between Salem and McMinnville, Oregon which host many events, festivals, fine restaurants and activities. We are only one hour from Portland, Oregon and less than an hour to the beautiful Oregon Coast and Cascade and Coastal mountains. We are right in the middle of many, many wineries with some of the best Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris in the world--other wines as well.

You will forever remember your stay here. Our friends and relatives think we live in paradise, and WE AGREE.

A perfect retreat in the middle of a wine lovers paradise
Gordon and Judy were great hosts and their place is a retreat in the middle of wine lover paradise Made a trip to the Oregon coast, Silver Falls Park ( a must do) and visited as many wineries as time would allow We are so glad we selected their place as our stop in the Willamette valley and hope some day to return Totally recommend for 1 or two couples or a family. Thanks Gordon and Judy - was better than we could have imagined

Amazing Retreat
We recently had the privilege of staying at the Fultz Farm in Amity. Our stay exceeded our expectations! The cottage is beautifully maintained with ample room. The setting is serene and quiet with a beautiful koi pond in the back. Gordon and Judy are awesome and called me several times before our arrival to keep me informed about things we may need to know. Unfortunately, we were not able to meet them in person because of a prior commitment, but they made sure we knew their friend, Linda, would be available if anything was needed. The farm is located about a mile off the main road and it is hard-packed gravel - you know you are in the country! But this made our trip an adventure! The town of Amity has a great restaurant called The Blue Goat - delicious food, quirky interior and great staff. McMinnville isn't far away and also has great restaurants and stores to explore. The farm is about midway between Portland and the coast - great location! Thank you, Gordon & Judy, for making us feel welcome!

Just like home, but better and more beautiful!
Gordon and Judy couldn't have made our gaunt across the country any more special for the Totality of the eclipse, 2017. From the time I booked the home until the time we arrived, the communication was ongoing and informative. Our accommodations were perfect, a home away from home - fully stocked kitchen, spotlessly clean throughout, so very relaxing with a view of the koi pond, waterfall, and sunset. The location couldn't have been more perfect, with just a short drive to many vineyards, quaint small towns, the Oregon coast and restaurants. Beautiful place and will definately be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay and your gracious hospitality. Matt and Sherry Egan, Atlanta, Georgia

We are retired and live happily on this property and have for over 30 years. Our rental was built as a mother-in-law residence. It is a beautiful one story, well appointed house with great views and a large Koi pond in front. We love it here and spend much of our time just enjoying the beauty, the animals and our walks around the property. We love wine tasting and all of the wonderful restaurants nearby. We often go to the coast and the mountains and take in major sporting and concerts/plays in the city. We have traveled to all but one continent and still consider this to be our most favorite place in the world.

Why they chose this property

We are in the middle of great wine tasting opportunities with close proximity to the beautiful Oregon coast, mountains, great fishing rivers, and several Metro areas. Many great restaurants are nearby.

What makes this property unique

Our property is a wildlife habitat with ponds, walking trails and wonderful views. You can easily stay home and enjoy this very unique property. Wine tasting is only minutes away and the Oregon coast (where you can see whales, find agates and other treasures) is less than an hour travel.
