Beautiful full bay views! On Grand Traverse Bay minutes from Traverse City!

Located at Grand Traverse Resort’s beach club “The Shores" on East Grand Traverse Bay, just minutes from downtown Traverse City, this suite is a water and beach lover’s dream. The view is one of the best in the Resort! One of the few two bedroom, two bath condos available to rent.

Some of the pictures show grass near the water, but this was from a few summers ago. The beach is all beautiful sand right up to the water and great for swimming and relaxing!

Jet ski, paddle board and boat rentals are on site and available to rent through Blue Sky Rentals.

Three world-class championship golf courses are less than ½ mile away at the Grand Traverse Resort.


It's located 40 miles east of Sleeping Bear Dunes, named by Good Morning America as "The Most Beautiful Place in America" in 2011 and named the #1 thing to do by TripAdvisor.

On-site shuttle service and transportation to and from Grand Traverse Resort and Spa and Turtle Creek Casino!

The Village at Grand Traverse Commons - a Historic 1884 hospital complex now a sprawling shopping & dining spot with arboretum & hiking is located 10 miles from our condo and Downtown Traverse City.

Additional beach area (Acme park) is right next to the condo complex offering:

Perfect for a romantic getaway and enjoying the amazing Northern Michigan sunsets, a family getaway with a beach just steps away and a park right next door! During the colder seasons enjoy snowmobiling, cross country skiing, downhill skiing and snow shoeing. Wineries and Breweries are open year round! Perfect for a girls getaway with shopping 10 minutes away at the mall or downtown Traverse City boutiques not to mention the beautiful relaxing spa 1/2 mile away at the Grand Traverse Resort. Casinos, restaurants, wineries and breweries nearby.

Great location. Adequate size. Price for the area was good. Lacking a few items I am accustomed to in a VRBO rental: bar soap, bath and shower products, Kleenex. TV was difficult to work. Towels were needing a refresh.

Not what we expected
The condo was dated, rooms very small, we took this property because of the potentially beautiful views of Lake Michigan. They were there, however, there was a big swimming pool which we didn't have access to directly in front of our master bedroom and living room, with bright lights that stayed on all night long and made it very hard to sleep because the curtains didn't block much of the light. Shower heads need to be cleaned or replaced and some of the hardware on the cabinets is broken. We were disappointed that the owner didn't inform us of these issues or have an accurate listing and photos. We chose this property because of the potentially beautiful Lake Michigan views which were there, however there was a big swimming pool with bright lights that stayed on all night taking away from the view. The outside of the buildings and the grounds were well maintained and attractive.
