** Kitchen and bathrooms remodeled in 2023.**. Our home is located in Homosassa, on a deep water canal just a 5 min. boat ride to the river and 20 min. from the Gulf of Mexico. This is a prime location, close to the The Freezer ( 1/2 mile), MacRae's and Riverside Resort (1 mile).

35 ft. of dock space to accommodate one or two (depending on size) boats. Property can accommodate 1-2 trailers on the side yard and 2 cars in the driveway.

There is a large deck/dock area, screened porch, outdoor seating and gas grill.

Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals inside or on the grill. It has a small microwave and dishwasher. We do not have a deep freezer to store bait.

The home has central A/C + a wall unit located in the master bedroom. Also ceiling fans in the living room/loft area and master bedroom.

Cable/Wifi included.

NO PARTIES, LOUD MUSIC OR PETS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED.

Peaceful, quiet retreat
This cozy yet roomy cabin was an ideal finish to our tour of Florida. Although it rained hard for two of the three days we were there, it was just what we needed to regain our energy and prepare for our flight back to Colorado. The natural setting is beautiful and more attractive to us than any other location in Florida. The nearby hills and tropical forests plus the availability of great fishing and uncluttered beaches encourages us to return next winter.

Super responsive host
Cute little house in the Homassas area; quiet, plenty of space for 6+ people! The host was super responsive--had a small issue or two and she responded and immediately and took care of issue promptly. If I could give her more than a 5 star rating, I would!! One note to future renters--if renting winter or early spring, bring some repellent for no-seeums. They were terrible! Even so, we spent a lot of time on the screened in lanai even though we scratched like crazy later.--.haha! Saw a manatee in the canal, too.

This is paradise found. That may sound like a bit of an oversell, but it is truly an understatement. We spent three weeks at this location and with the exception of the No see ums (Very small bitting insects) it was perfect. My projections is we shall make a return visit next year if it is still available.
